*First time seeing Banjo Kazooie ending* - "Humina humina humina humina humina BONER!"
I'm going to get disagrees for this, but I, personally, would love to see a futuristic Zelda. At first, this might sound like nothing more than adding guns and turning it into a crappy shooter, but I believe it is possible to see a futuristic Zelda that still maintains the overall feel. If someone like Miyamoto is as talented as he's led us to believe of the years, then he could pull it off and pull it off right.
Possible title: LoZ: Link to the Future? Mabye? Anyo...
"Disaster has struck..." You know, where is all this drama when hundreds of users get their XBL accounts hacked on a regular basis? Where is it when Microsoft intentionally perma-bans thousands users, around the time a new CoD or Halo title comes out, so they have to run out and buy a new 360 just to play the game? Seriously. PSN goes down for a few hours, most likely for maintenance (I mean, god forbid that Sony actually makes good on their promise of keeping the network secure!), ...
For me, personally, the Platinum trophy has always kindof been the deal breaker for me. It's just awesome for friends to look at one another's profile to compare how many bronze, silver, gold, and platinum trophies they have to see who is the more dedicated gamer. Achievements come off as a number, and really feel like nothing more. Granted, it's all just little meaningless pictures in the end, but they really add alot to the fun of online gaming.
Sony has always been that company willing to publish anything and is more than happy to lend a hand when a developer has a new idea for the platform. Look at games like Portal 2 and Dust 514. Both contain experiences on PS3 that cannot be found on any other console because Microsoft constantly maintains a closed policy with their network while Nintendo is simply incapable. Sony seemingly never stops pushing the envelope with PS exclusives, even when it's inconvenient for them. As far as ...
Ever heard of a game called Halo, and a book called Starship Troopers? Since you want to talk about clones..
Zelda is in there, but not Mario. Yeah. This list is complete shit.
You know, sales wise, the same can be said about any of the companies. Besides Halo, Forza, and Gears, what games on 360 really sell well?
Really, the fact that Sony is still releasing new IP's on PS3 completely destroyed the sales argument. Why? Because despite making little to no money on the PS3, Sony still puts out awesome AAA IP's. People try to say that sales will result in better quality games and services. Well. Why is it that Microsoft, despite being the o...
You know what? You can blame Microsoft for the fact that multiplat devs don't use the full power of the PS3. Microsoft knew from the getgo that their console would be weaker than the PS3, so they created a policy that strong arms third party devs by telling them that their games have to be on parity, or better, on the 360, or they would refuse to publish the title. As Rob Dyer said, Microsoft is protecting an inferior technology, and Sony's first party studios have proven that FACT ti...
I love how ever the game settled with a metascore that is extremely good for a portable, all of the sudden late reviewers are giving it mediocre scores. This game is far from a 7.6. The title is fantastic and puts most console titles to shame. But these guys wouldn't know what a good game is, now would they?
From the sound of things, Americans and Japanese are getting the 4th game as well, so Europe may get the collection earlier, but we still get the last laugh. Keep bragging. ;)
Oh look. Metro Game Central, a confirmed Nintendo fan site, says PASBR is bad. How shocking.
I'm well aware that he's going to be in it, but you forgot Cole McGrath, as well as many more possibities. It's kindof obvious this list was for fun, so I'm not going to be an asshole and nitpick it, but you did have some very good choices. Kat, Wander, Ratchet, etc. all really need to be in. And hey, what about good ol' KB? He's a hero to the Playstation brand, so that's gotta count for something? XD
I'm pretty sure they already that there will be limited Camera control. I guess meaning certain maps or modes will allow it. The fixed doesn't really ruin much. The only problem from it would be if there are ranged weapons, like the bane, which would of course result in players abusing the fact that others can't see them if they're on a bottom corner of the map and just kill from afar. Hopefully nothing like that is allowed, because that's a potential game destroyer right ...
Sounds like there's going to be multiple character reveals. I'm putting my money on Cole McGrath being 1 of them. :P
Personally, I really hope we get to see it earlier. Howver, as with all masterpieces, the longer it takes to see the light of day, the better it will be in the end. Something tells me this release date is false, but I guess you never know. I would assume ND wants to put as much time and effort into this game as possible so that the PS3 can go out with a very big bang. So, on the off chance that this is true, let's hope it means the game will be the best friggin work since the Mona Lisa.
Microsoft releases NPD... For the US. Come on Microsoft, why don't you show us your worldwide NPD? You like to claim to be the worldwide bestseller, yet the only companies putting out actual numbers are Sony and Nintendo. Both of which, by the way, showed PS3 beat 360 and Wii in 2011. Nice job lying or manipulating the truth to seem like your console somehow actually matters, M$. You get a special kid's clap.
Any none ignorant moron can see that the game is NOT scripted, if they actually look at it and use some deductive reasoning. What happened here on Fallon was either ND got lazy, or Sony simply didn't want anymore of the game to be unveiled, so they simply played the E3 recording on screen and pretended to actually play. Most likely the latter is the truth, so this just wasn't the right time for us to see more on the game. That's all.
As for you morons calling i...
If I'm not mistaken, this is Santa Monica's first time working with multiplayer in one of their own titles. I'm expecting another Uncharted 2 with this, as the multiplayer looks like it'll be extremely fun. It looks difficult and will probably take a huge learning curve to get into it, but it seems like it transfers well from the single player and will be good.
I just ordered mine yesterday...
