The opening made the transhuman vibe pretty clear. When he wakes up and stares at his arm I had a good flashback to the opening of Ghost in the Shell.
I'd love to think the whole game can carry the feel of this trailer. It's an easy GOTY contender if it does.
Not to be a huge douche or rain on this video's glory, but 6:40-6:50 is not nearly as hard to do as most of the other amazing tricks. On 360 I managed to pull that off within an afternoon.
Indigo Prophecy can be had on Xbox Originals for download. Great game to play over a winter break.
This is confirmed from Famitsu in a related article from the site.
"New Marvelous game
- For Wii
- Horror adventure title
- Releasing March 24 in Japan
- Balance Board support
- “イケニエノヨル” in Japanese, roughly translates to “Ikenienoyoru”" (Night of the Sacrifice)
Typically Epic games are great. And they just so happen to use Unreal.
I fail to see a problem.
Haha I feel the same way when I see an opinion piece about Mirror's Edge (only 2 years old I know). Makes you super pumped for 2 seconds, only to tease you into rage/depression.
Basically. They sunk his eyes a bit to give him a grungy look. Other than that, he is a carbon copy of every action title to date. Maybe silent, helmet wearing thugs are better after all.
"Indie isn’t about quantities, it’s about control. Letting someone pay for your project before it starts implies they have a say in certain aspects, budgets, deadlines, a timeline for them to get some return on their investment. Being free of this is being independent, by definition."
This. Doesn't matter if it's budget was $500 or $5M, an indie game is simply one free of market/investor influence.
Alright list. Plays it too safe with the choices and makes a nice grammar fail to top it off.
"Although Fallout: New Vegas had it share of bugs back when it was released, all seems to be fix but people who encountered the bugs simply ignored it because the game had a great story to it."
This all sounds pretty awesome so far. I've wanted to like her games but I never felt compelled enough to rush out and buy them.
I'm eagerly awaiting the gameplay vids for this one.
I'd far prefer a crime drama by Kojima over anything similar to Heavy Rain. For some reason Japanese creators understand American culture far better than most Europeans. Especially the French, what the hell Quantic Dream.
Thanks. I try to give a good impression to everyone I meet.
Stun spamming in key spots as soon as you enter a section. Never missing certain shots is mandatory or else you find yourself reloading at bad times.
Oh and only pistol! >:)
Hmm. I'm gonna call this the yearly hype train. There's always the odd reveal, but mostly it's bad celebrity appearances and poor award choices.
These are really good. Not the game obviously, the quick looks.
Yeah I rolled my eyes before even clicking on the page. Not that it's a bad game, it just screams generic pretty badly.
Its right up there with Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire.
Unrivaled in-car view hands down. The devs took inspiration straight from Mirror's Edge, according to an early interview of the first Shift.
Which is why it probably won't release in NA. Though the 360 does have a dedicated base in Japan for plenty of niche titles. These games don't come out for nothing. The 360 is full of them.
Vanquish and Bayonetta play around with that a bit.
It is fine to award ME2 best storytelling. The way you choose everything yourself makes it that much more appealing.
Though it's 99% linear, Deadly Premonition's story is arguably better because of all the monologues York has. I'm pretty sure the characters in ME2 and RDR are too busy shooting everything rather than taking a moment to themselves.
The last hour or so is absolutely ridiculous. Blows the lid off any game ending I've heard of.
