Hurhur Deadly Premonition was bad I know this cuz a saw the grafx and they sucked.
You do know that review sites other than IGN actually took their time and played the game for themselves. Many discovered it is worthy of scores in the 7-8 range.
Jim Sterling was simply making a point by giving it a 10. It worked, and awareness rose for a game that deserves to be noticed.

Well, clearly CoD has reached Mario level saturation. So when the team goes to the drawing board they quickly realize they are running out of options.
So they pull a Mario Galaxy and set the damn thing in outer space. You never know, it could be the best thing to happen to the series since its inception.
I agree about AC. Such a bold and unforgiving game when it came out in '07. Now 3 years later we have tank-cannon riding Ezio's lost adventures as a spinoff on the way to AC3!

I too am going to call out the marketers on this one. That slogan is probably not a good choice. The whole action hero thing is being played out too far.

Enslaved's sales were low due to market factors like low awareness, being too different/unique, and low value-for-money compared to other games in it's launch window like Fallout NV, etc.

Between the cliched Hispanic pervert, the raging big black guy, and the unexplained sexual contact between the main character and the journalist, I knew I was playing a games that panders to the Hollywood crowd.
There is little room for originality when you are busy ripping off Saw, and having fights on conveyor belts while the crooked cops loaf around wondering with innocents they should arrest. Y'know how crooked those big-city cops are.
Right. I just hope it is not 'mainstreamed' to try and grab more sales. Basically, I think it needs more customization / freedom for the sequel to appeal to a bigger crowd.
