While a lot of fun to play in co-op, RE5 was still a step in the wrong direction for the theme of Resident Evil games. The whole idea of dreading the light and fearing the plagas infected people was all hype and rubbish. By the end of the game it becomes a shooting gallery where the Africans don't resemble infected at all and just shoot AKs at you.
Not to mention Wesker is turned into a silly comic book villian. It ruined any idea of him as an intelligent or interesting ...
WarioWare is without a doubt the most fun I had with the launch of the original DS. The 3DS will only make it more fun, and I have 1000% confidence it's being worked on right now and will sell millions ;)
This is a fantastic game and PS3 owners in North America should get a shot. I hardly believe porting this would be a large investment, and it's 360 launch was successful enough. Anything that builds interest in a SWERY game would be good news.
Sort of agree with Balt. When I saw the announcement trailer for Mass Effect 3 I barely payed attention. I played the first two to bits yet still was not excited. It's hard to be surprised when everyone knows it's coming. Halo 5, GTA V, etc could all be announced tomorrow and I wouldn't lose sleep. Closer to launch is different though!
El Shaddai looks fantastic and is already getting industry respect in Japan. That game alone makes them a good publisher to me.
There is of course Deadly Premonition, the best thing ever produced onto disc.

Not a problem. The hip hop image is a big part of American culture and is not offensive. Plenty of people identify with this look and not just blacks.

I was only 13-14 when I played the Gamecube remake. Still the best game in the series agreed.

Twin Snakes and REmake were the most glorious remakes ever made.
The previews coming out have convinced me it will be a superior game all around. If only the voice acting could get a mention somewhere.

This is the only game where some "improvements" might not be for the best haha. Still I have huge hopes that this kicks ass.
Not really. Having cutting edge specs is not a good way to become popular or have the best games anyway. All it does is give more developers headaches and gamers less money. It has worked since the DS launched in 2005 and I'd say every Nintendo machine will stick to it.
But Live Arcade and PSN are the reason it's special. The development costs allow them to try something different and not blow their budget and risk a big loss. No 100+ dev team, no manufacturing, distribution, retail costs etc.
Maybe if it is successful there will be sequels. Though a From Dust disc game is impossible to imagine since no one has bought it yet.
