The story is apparently more interesting than most shooters and the gameplay isn't bad at all. Just "average" really.

This looks like the final bastardization of the AC franchise. A tank section? A turret section? (I'll admit the water cannon looked okay) Quick 1 shot melee takedowns in plain sight of 6 foes? Why not just ruin everything it means to be an assassin?
If AC3 continues this lame pandering to the Gears / Batman AA crowd, I'll never look at this series again.

I am pretty picky about music and sfx balance so I check this menu before every damn game/demo I play. I don't exist :(

I first liked the idea of this game for the same reasons. The neon haired catgirl thing is a 90's-ish platformer trope and that's good. The game itself is decent but nothing impressive really. At least that's what the demo made it seem like.

Yeah I think the story of the day is Quantum's score too. There is a real cultural gap when it comes to what's acceptable in a game. Whether that's good or bad is up to gamers I guess.
