I think it would be in the 10 best of the year. All consoles included. It's unique enough to stand out from the rest.
"I love the clunky controls..."
What the hell? I've heard it all now. The guy could have at least used a more flattering term. I love RE1 for it's clunky controls, but this is an FPS we're talking about.
The comparisons are fun to look at. Just make it come out by Christmas please!
Umm what? What part in that quote made you think that?
Kotick isn't any more evil than any other game publisher executive. He just says what he feels regardless of popularity.
Perhaps the FF series has reached such a godly status people simply expect Square to work in mysterious ways. It's easier to stomach their sequelitis than it is to hear Bobby talk about how awesome his new shooter game is.
You mean Ken Levine. And yes, he is not involved with this game. He's working on some other big mysterious project right now. I doubt he hates Bioshock 2 lol. The team working on this game will make a great product in the end.
"Mass Effect 2 is looking absolutely stunning in terms of visuals, and Bioware claims to have improved the motion capture, added more polygons to the characters and overhauled the lighting system. The results are spectacular."
Ooo. Unreal Engine 3 is getting it's second wind. This is gonna be awesome.
Cool stuff indeed. I'm hoping this and Alpha Protocol make October a great Action RPG month.
That looks to be a FAMAS. The French standard issue assault rifle. It is already a confirmed weapon too.

Wow I know! I want that album haha.
Nobody runs the hype machine like they do. Maybe MS will rent out 2 deserts for their next console launch as well.
Yeah... No depth here :O That's nuts.
Sigh, yep. I have friends who never touch SP in some cases. It is a very sad state of affairs. As a campaign developer at Infinity Ward I would be royally miffed at the horrible stats on COD 4 campaign completion.
I may not be KnaveX, but I think Halo 3 is easily the most skill oriented FPS on consoles. Anyone who plays against players rank 45 and higher quickly learns there are layers and layers of different skills to master. And unlike COD you will never manage to get a lucky nade or fluke headshot against those much better than you.
This sounds kinda cool. The upgrade system should keep things fun for a little while I suppose.
More like 3 months, the game is scheduled for early 2010. Around February or March.
^^ At Mezzo ^^ Funny, you say cut scenes tell more about a character than the game play. I think if you said that to Ubisoft they would tell you differently!
Just goes to show how different these games really are. Though for all intents and purposes; Sam Fisher will be easily more agile than snake ever will be. That's just how the game is.
Some writers tend to do this too. Write key scenes and filler, then make an opening full of foreshadowing and references to later things.
Borderlands looks more interesting than L4D2 IMO. I hope that game is top notch.
It was a pretty brutal movie, not THAT rough though. It was justified for the most part. And I hope you wash your mouth out with soap after saying "District 10." Just because it will probably happen doesn't mean it should.
