I know I am jumping the gun by alot by saying this. But wouldn't everyone wayyy prefer an extra 2-3 story missions instead of this vs/co-op madness? Maybe co-op if it's really good, but we all know it will kill any horror this game has anyway.
It just makes me :( to know that there are people who actually buy games based on this stuff.
I'm just glad I'm finally getting in on a beta finally. This looks really special too. It will be like playing Halo 3 for the first time only better :D
So the AI just broke the game for them? I got used to it pretty quickly again. It's not like all modern shooters even have AI anyways (CoD).
I flipped out at the headline! But then I saw this. The graphics are reasonably pretty though, at least it would be fun in short bursts.

I say this game actually gives you the ability to MANUALLY aim accurately and quickly AND still get through the missions without being detected. Apparently the (stiff as hell) aiming in the old Splinter Cells made you say "omg realism"?

It's a good game which deserves more attention than it got. Not scary actually, just atmospheric for most of the time.
It's an adventure game and not a survival horror btw. So it is quite different from the others which I didn't play either.
Yeah chaingun helo sections are more fun than they probably should be. The explosions are always excellent!
Sorry to tell you OP but this is not Unreal it's the YETI engine Ubi developed in house. This game runs at 60fps as well so stop whining.

While this comparison is bad, Destructiod's Deadly Premonition is Blatantly Better than Heavy Rain article was not. I actually picked up DP based on that article and enjoyed the plot more than HR!
