Looks pretty sexy. Too bad it will take alot more than one neat game to win anyone over.
I really hope this isn't just marketing speak. This game has insane potential as a great new offline shooter. The TPS genre hasn't really evolved lately either. Gears and Uncharted are both just going through the motions at this point, and I hope the 'rocket legs' gameplay make this game the one to beat.
The fact they admit they "know less about making games for PS3" shows they have learned from their mistakes too.
Vanquish is a TPS and looks epic.

As I understand it compatibility mode has worked for all my friends. Is this even a problem?
I don't know about you, but Okami was only one game. Its sequel is a Nintendo DS game at that. How does this discredit Zelda at all? Most people prefer Zelda anyhow (I did enjoy Okami on the Wii myself).
The ability to make them commit suicide is a very cool feature. This may actually be a intelligently designed game with some cool AI.
I want to hear more too. This has shot up past Reach on my hype list. Only because Bungie hasn't shown single player yet :P
I really wish shooter devs didn't have to trump up online all day long and showed great SP trailers like this one!
I saw this in the bargain bin at my local Walmart in Canada for that price! Makes me a little mad that it's being given away compared to a game like ME2, which came out on the same day, and is still like 50 bucks.
You could at least pretend to be excited about a AAA sequel.
Looks nice. They are definitely holding back on showing the more interesting features like blowing out windows etc.

I for one have never heard of a side scrolling Duke. This looks great and I'm interested.
Funny thing is, this is exactly how I hoped the next DS could look. I would be very impressed if something like this were true.

This is exactly what my friends and I would play in the computer lab in High School. From almost any Wikipedia page, we could click our way to Adolf Hitler's in around 3 clicks.

That may be the case. But it is a legitimate criticism that many Japanese games are guilty of. HUDS often clutter the screen and/or don't fade out when they aren't needed. They often seem less slick and cinematic than western games like Dead Space.

Porting great games from past systems is a good launch strategy I say. I want to play this and MGS 3 all over again.
