But for an arcade style shooter 4-6 hours is quite long. The replayability is a given with the high level of challenge and rockin music. Anyone interested in the genre will surely get a good two dozen hours out of this without batting an eye.
My cheap ass still hasn't bought it >:(
They used to be white actually. But yes they do look a bit like elites.

Are you ****ting me? It never occurred to me that it could happen like that!
This made my day. It was a favorite of mine back in '04
This blog is my bible for all things indie bro! ;)
EDIT: Yikes what a week... Obesity Epidemic looks fun, and though Spin looks bland but I'll take your word for it and try it out.
Rikitatsu may be right. Gears' online play is certainly NOT high quality by any standard. Vanquish's campaign only experience will at least feel more polished and complete in comparison.
I loved Halo 2 as well. Outskirts was my fave.
ODST's campaign was a pleasantly surprising change of pace with the city and all. The plot really came together at the end and that was satisfying.
I will never forgive myself for doubting Mirror's Edge. I picked up Gears 2 that fall and bought ME used like a year later :( It became my real GOTY 2008!
Freedom Fighters! That game was a riot back on my friend's PS2!
Better late than never. Another great score!
Deadly Premonition is easily the best cult game in a long while. Buy it, and you will arrive in a place that will change your fate!
You could turn on the steadycam feature and be done with it. And no this game doesn't look that bad. It has a very distinct style that isn't for everyone - simple as that.
By the way I loved the propane tank explosion at the end of the sp demo. The camera lags to shit in such an exaggerated way you'd think a nuke went off!
Admit it. You all have no business passing off your opinions on a franchise you haven't touched since the 90's.
That tie-dye 3DS is funky. I'd imagine its just shopped obviously.
I'm sure most would agree with you. But I'm not worried. This trend will likely fade out after the first year or so. Publishers are simply looking for a way to quickly make surefire hits and cash in on the huge hype aroung the system.
It has "taught" writing? Like something you learn at school?
Great article. It's true how similar the subject matter and characters are. Both are actually brilliant in their own ways. AW in a Hollywood way, and DP in a b-movie one :D
This actually looks refreshing. I hope the online is solid from day one. It would be a great change from team deathmatch stuff.
The first game will be the only true "Assassin" game in my book. You were actually experiencing the trials of a Hashashin. Though sometimes nerve-wracking, the feeling of being hunted down actually meant something in the first game. They should have just called the sequel Beat the Hell out of Everyone Creed. There were so many options to kick ass! You never feared the guards or Templars as a result.
AC2 was easier to play, and was very successful. I still feel it gr...
Everyone should pounce on this as soon as it hits $30. It's just too high a price for people on the fence right now.
