I always wanted a STALKER game on the 360/PS3. But I have a feeling the devs are afraid to release a niche fps with no team deathmatch mode to a crowd of teens :P
I gotta show this to my friends! :O
Shattered Memories can be found at a discounted price now. If you see this game, buy it!
It's quiet and adventurey, not action packed. Enjoy the music and the unique story.
It was a defining game no doubt about it. The author shows contempt for the whole idea of a story in a game. Why listen to him?
"I personally hate being forced to sit through lengthy cut scenes; for those of us who just want to dive back into the action, a non-skippable cut scene is like purgatory."
So as soon as the game has something to say, you cry about not being able to kill stuff?
We need to see a skilled player at the pad. Every demo I've seen had an amateur milling about and boosting into walls.
I just wish we could find out about that horror game Grasshopper Manufacture has supposedly been working on since 2008.
I also loved ME. It sounds elitist, but I think the people who had trouble with this game were probably not that good. I found that with practice that any control issues just melted away.
I need this now! These reviews make it pretty tempting, and I want to get better at shmups.
No kidding. Am I the only one who skips every headline with the words "COD" or "Kinect"?
By the way, the trailer is stunning!

When oh when will people stop with the faulty logic. 3D on PS3 and 3DS are two very different propositions!
One requires a high end T.V and $200 glasses, the other requires a single piece of hardware that does glasses-free 3D for the price of the glasses! Even the casuals can figure out this one.
And suddenly, this game is on my want-list.
I'm not one to jump in on this type of thing, but who the hell disagreed with this guy? Someone likes buying this stuff? It is obviously aimed at casuals with no knowledge of good gaming, so why defend it?
While their technical abilities are trend setting, I think this article is talking about originality in regards to gameplay features. UC2 generally borrows techniques then cranks them to 11. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
You actively play Heavy Rain over 90% of the time from beginning to end. FFXII is like 40 hours long. How do they not have alot of game play?
I can't wait either :D
This game looks seriously hot. I have big hopes for it as a commercial success too.
I feel the same way. I did not think the release date would be this year, as Nintendo surely wants a smooth launch. Taking the extra time for themselves and their third party developers seems like a safe bet. It's not like the DS is suffering any.
I'm sure this could be super useful to a specific group of people. Most consumers won't associate video-calling with a 'Gameboy', but it's probably the most compact and functional communication device ever made. That is if this turns out to be true *fingers crossed*.
These articles are brilliant. Next time someone tells you Pokemon aren't as cool/creative anymore. Point them to these articles and remind them how blind they are :P
Rated PG, may contain patriotic garbage.
