Quite well done yeah. At least this trailer gives us an idea of what the monsters he will be facing look like. We're getting there, hopefully the next trailer has gameplay.
..heck?
I hope the European release finds success. This game has become pretty well liked by most Western critics. Euro reviews won't be as prone to the kneejerk reactions from American mainstream sites like IGN, who probably got 2 hours in and slapped a bad score on it. Hopefully more scores like this come around and DP is accepted as a great game.
Pretty much. I wouldn't buy another "action horror" game new ever again. RE5 was a fun co-op shooter, but that's just not good enough for a series with such a great tradition of survival gameplay.
I can shoot stuff in any game these days, why should RE try and copy that?
For a minute there, I thought the music in this video was the new Xbox logo sound effect D:
There are many indie games everyone should be checking out. This one's a great value so it would be a good place to start.
Just go to the indie section in the marketplace, browse all, pick a genre, and download trials for some of the top rated titles. Do it now!
Okay I say this every time ME comes up. But I just can't resist when the author said something dramatic like this.
"...as you lined up a wall-jump for the fifteenth time, if you could keep yourself from crying, you might find yourself enjoying the feeling that you were experiencing something genuinely experimental."
Are you kidding? How many people ended up in this situation more than once? Mirror's Edge is not easy, and rewards those who pe...
Posting in advance with an eye out for Faith and a .45 ...
Wow I can't believe it wasn't there. Non exclusive perhaps?
The Witcher would have been an awesome game to have. I'm always looking out for good PC games on consoles.
It's the only thing that can take my mind off the Halo launch on the 14th. Suda and Mikami making a game - that just commands respect.
I played SH:SM through twice and never felt too constricted. The trick with 90% of Wii games is to use short, controlled movements. Shake off the enemies like your mixing a drink, not actually throwing them off.
I'm barely 19 so I didn't get many opportunities to play classic shooters. Stuff like this really gets me interested. Here's hoping it's packed with cool stuff.
What a man.
CVG: "Are you a fan of classical music?"
Itagaki: "I really like it! My car has tinted windows and I get my wife to drive the car, while I smoke cigarettes with the (Flight of the Valkyries) playing really loud [starts singing DAHN DA DA DA DAHN! again...]
WETs heroine Rubi is a favourite of mine. She is well voiced and looks really cool.
A comment on the site says "there’s something about the demo, if you use a red/blue 3d glasses at the menu screen, it looks like a real 3D menu O_o"
Can anyone confirm this madness?
I hope that discounts the "snap-to-target" crap seen in modern aim-down-sights FPSes. Duke would rather spray a whole mag at the wall than have auto aim do his business for him!
I have not played this game. But as I understand it, it can get pretty hard on many occasions. A hardcore gamer I know assured me that it's difficulty is in line with a Team Ninja production.
Did you get manhandled by a boss or two? How about hard mode?
Do you know how you can tell that a game is going to be something special? When its demo ends with the main character getting his dick sucked by twins, then admits that his game better be good because it "took twelve fucking years"
Brilliant XD
I think alot of people can't get past the amount of cheap knockoff titles that turn the Indie market into a swamp of crap. If you know where to look, I totally agree with the awesomeness of the indie scene. There have been many XBLIG's I've bought which impress me more than many major dev projects.
What Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo need to do is publicize good indie devs with ads on the dashboards. So much gold is buried under avatar games and Geometry Wars ripoff...
I'd still like to polay it even if it bombed. You know it would still be fun to play no matter how dated it feels. It's Duke Nukem Forever to god's sakes it would be an honour to play it even if it was a turd.
The author says it best. "My personal belief is that the system will come out on Sunday, November 21st in the United States for $249.99 and be packed in with a game."
Paper Mario be a good candidate!
