I've made the decision starting this gen to wait at minimum 2 years before buying a console on release for the following reasons.
1.) Correct any hardware issues.
2.) Lower in price.
3.) Increase the software library.
When I eventually do purchase a Wii U if there isn't already an emulator for it on PC I'd get Bayonetta 2 and Zombie U.
Who cares?
HDMI cables are cheap to purchase now.
Not a big deal.
Meh.
I don't play fighting games online.
Only play story and 2 player fighter mode with another friend in the same room/screen.
I've had a couple internet problems and the PS3 trophy syncing seems to take longer then usual.
Other then that not many issues.
The 2 people that disagreed are clearly noobs.

I do think the Wii U will be a huge success now that their putting more focus on core gamers and what not.
But as far as casuals go most of them are now on Apple iOS/Android devices playing games.
Which is a good thing.
Now developers can start giving back to the core gamers and not make multiplayer in their games so noob friendly anymore.
Well that sucks.
So, much for playing the sequel on PS3.
How awkward is it going to be playing Bayonetta 2 on a tablet controller?

There's a market for adult content always has been.

I think Pokemon should take a break.
It's clear both the anime and games are running out of ideas for Pokemon characters.
I stopped liking the anime after watching Black & White (Season 14) mainly because Brock wasn't in that season and that Ash keeps acting immature and constantly changes his views on Pokemon.

In the beginning of this gen I'd say it was worth it because XBL had more features then PSN due to it being out longer in the market but once PSN started to catch up and even surpass it in some ways right now XBL is not worth the price tag.
Why is it on a paid subscription (XBL) we're getting ads on the interface?
