If we're talking about sales which I don't care about then Nintendo owned everybody.
If we're talking games specifically consoles then Playstation owned big time due to the wide variety of exclusive games and IPs.
I'm not too worried about Blizzard because they've got so much money they can afford to be their own publisher and work on their projects.
Activision for the most part is stable but that's only due to the success of Call of Duty.
If Activision didn't have Call of Duty they'd be in a world of hurt right now.
For the most part core gamers have moved on to other games.
The only people still playing COD games are casual gamers.
(Core ga...
That would be nice but being realistic it'll probably be 720P/30 frames per second.
Meh.
I prefer real life achievements over digital ones.
This applies to trophies/achievements as a whole.
Both sides are equally to blame.
Rare should of stayed with Nintendo and refused the M$ buy out.
M$ should of supported their devs more and give them more room to be creative.
It's sad what gaming has turned into this generation.
Those days of simply putting in a game and playing it no longer exists.
Because either you don't have all of the content, there's some stupid service that you have to use or dumb mandatory patch that you have to install just to play your game you bought.
I blame M$ for introducing DLC on XBL Marketplace with Xbox 360.
Charging for online is a joke.
Subscription anything is not necessary f...
People do use mics on PSN.
Hell I have a mic and the only times I'll talk to people is if I know them or I'm playing a team based game.
Other then that your gonna get muted.
It would of been better without the stupid SIX AXIS.
>.<
Edit:
I'd like to see a Heavenly Sword sequel.
These potential features are all cool.
Hopefully despite being on a Cloud like service gamers will still be able to own their games.
I just want (4) things from Nintendo.
1.) Progression.
(I'd rather have visuals and game play over gimmicky controls any day which is where compatibility comes into play.)
2.) Compatibility.
(Analog controllers, Older Systems, Accessories, etc.)
3.) New IPs.
(I want new IPs. Preferably for the consoles and not the handhelds.)
4.) Put a second analog stick on their handhelds.
(Not circle pad...
Chuck Norris
Clint Eastwood
Bruce Willis
Jackie Chan
Jet Li
Michael Jai White
etc.
Why does Nintendo still neglect adding a second analog controller to their handhelds?
Also I don't want those crappy circle pads that only move in 4 directions like controller arrows.
I want dual analog sticks with full 360 degree movement.
Nintendo may have their console game on the right road but their handheld department is just laughable to me right now.
Hope you can still play with a dualshock controller.
I don't want to rush out and get PS Move just for light gun games.
From a 3rd party perspective M$ does have game support but from an exclusive stand point their lacking really bad in variety.
There's only so many times someone can play Halo, Gears of War and so on before getting stale.
I have a feeling M$ is going to have a hard time next gen judging by their past (3) E3 showings.
M$ better step it up next gen or else they will lose hardcore supporters.
Oh yes I'm so getting this game.
Sweet!
Another dope game on PS3.
If Kojima also release MGS5 on PC I'll get it on that platform also.
Please consoles on average can barely do 720P and you think the next consoles will do 4K (4X times better then 1080P) then your insane.
PC is light years ahead of everything.
DRM:
Lack of freedom on the player that owns the game.
Too pricey:
Gaming isn't a cheap hobby and for me to able to afford all of these games I wait for price drops and deals on various sites/services like Steam, GOG and Amazon.
DLC:
I'm not a fan of paying $60 for an uncomplete game.
(I can wait for a GOTY Edition 4-5 months later after release.)
Releases are sketchy:
The big games releases now...
The people you see buying those fancy cars are rich people and not everyday people dude.
Makes me glad I'm American.
:D
