Yeah. I remember distinctly watching the last Sony one on my laptop in-front of the TV with my housemate watching some prime-time TV. However I think the 2007 one was at night, I remember staying up all night for the E3 when Raiden in MGS4 was revealed.
It was interesting how they said 'We could make uncharted forever, but each hardware needs something special'. So basically like crash and jak, uncharted will go as far as the PS3 does, then a new franchise. I can live with that.
Nice one! Not quite the level of publisher funding, but it's good to know they got a good amount from it.
An appropriatly named site too.
It just so happens to be a game with underwhelming visuals and innovation that is released on every console known to man to appeal to the broadest audience possible and purely exists to coincide with the release of a movie by the same name.
Doesn't make it a movie game, right?
Well I personally can't relate to Sci-fi trains whizzing on a suspended green track. BUT, All FF's have turned a little Sci-Fi at one point... At least all the ones i've played. But they usually save that for the end when you enter the villain's lair or when everything goes insane. And that works better because of the feeling of juxtaposition to the thatched villages you were in previously. FF13 just went way over the top.
Make it like final fantasy 1-6 and 9. You know... a FANTASY, not a Sci-fi. I miss rickety old airships that looks like blimps and little simple villages with lovely music.
This isn't even a news story, it's a tech support ticket someones published online. It's like if I published an article about that one time I lost 3 games apps from my Iphone because apple updates suck and expected N4G to care...
The author should maybe have waited until he had the latest game to comment on it. It's a bit like when GT did retrospectives before a new game in the series came out... meaning it was out dated within a month.
But the article is still exactly what it says on the tin and i've completed Apocalypse and it's great, feels very different to the others though. Also it's a Shame only about 50% of the tracks have stuff exploding when I felt that was the whole point, b...
lolwut
Yeah, the appeal of DN:F is that it's like a game lost in time that got frozen in a glacier for 10 years. A true time capsule game, I think people are expecting and hoping it will be out-dated and silly, I sure as hell am. A slice of late 90's that never happened.
Someone doesn't own a PS3.
Blimey heck, I want to try it out. Not sure if the mask would catch on for home use, but I really do want to try it out.
Lets face it, nobody would write about people 'releasing balloons into the air' to promote a game. If you ask me this was either planned or is something they're incredibly happy with, I mean, isn't it a bit fishy the first site to get this isn't kotaku but.. Yahoo gaming blog? Sounds like a deal to me.
I have 3 psn accounts, Europe, Usa and Japan. Including the PSP i'm actually surprised it's not higher than 1.7
He's a baby! He's a baby! Odd choice to pick the man with the scores George Doors for the thumbnail, not complaining though.
Loved this game back in the day. Gives me nostalgia just from the sound effects.
Nope. I love my PoP trilogy disc, I love my GoW remastering. But from here on out I probably wouldn't even buy a 2 game remastering with the exception of Sotc/Ico.
Overall though 3 games for 2/3 of standard game price is a winner and I love that this trend occurred. But paying that price for one remastered game? Naah.
I'm torn, should I pick up a cheap DSi now, or wait for the 3DS, in all it's over-priced glory.
There's a load of games in the DS library i want, but now the 3DS plays them too and the future games... Oh i don't know!
'Ben Laden' I can't quantify how much that made me laugh.
