Put a sarcastic comment here about being excited, but due to the anti-climatic nature of all this announcement stuff it wouldn't have even worked as sarcasm.
Such a shame, if they had got their original time slot I'm sure it would have been pretty awesome but it seems the gears were already in motion for the magazine etc to follow suit shortly afterward so it all fell on its arse.
I know what you mean, it's handy that they can use the wand for other stuff, and i'm sure it is a slight improvement. But if it doesnt need the wand at all, it's rather cheeky to say it needs the wand, it should have a choice so people don't need to pay extra for that slight improvement. But that wouldn't sell Move Units i guess.
Eyepet is already out in the EU and has been for months...
So why did that trailer say only for use with Move? It works perfectly here without the wand, it seemed odd that the presenter also said 'More on that later' like it was enigmatic.
It's down to about 20 quid here in england, and isn't really shifting much, are they just slapping Move onto it so they can claim that it's a launch title for it? Seems a little suspect when they are padding out their lineup for tech by ...
As someone who owns all 3, a PC and a Mac and a nice ol' HDTV and PS Eye i have to say, i was very mixed on all this stuff.
The only thing that actually impressed me somewhat was Motion Party, i loved how it put the objects into the persons hand seamlessly, it just looked really well done and fun.
The fighter here looked the worst to me, it looked the prettyest possibly, but the demo they did didn't seem responsive at all, it did seem exactly like a Wii Game dispite ...
In my playthrough it froze 3 times within the first 4 hours requiring turning the whole thing off and on again, and the audio dropped out a fair bit and sometimes random people would walk right through the major characters in crowd cutscenes.
But apart from a slight Immersion breaking Chuckle every now and then it didn't ruin the experience, after the first few hours it stopped crashing and hasn't crashed again on my other playthroughs.
I'd quite like a patch so my...
A developer would say what they actually mean. Clearly it's more of a case of:
'We can only afford to develop for one platform, and the 360 will make more sales'
Why bullshit it up with 'I only want this viewed on a TV'. People would understand if they just said what they honestly thought.
For the first year or 2 of it's development it was pitched as open world with dynamic environments and all sorts of awesome stuff... then that went away.
That disappointment about its linearity is the reason it got 'ok' reactions at E309. It's a cracking game, it just originally sounded like it'd be a revolution.
I managed to get her to complete peggle... and thats it. However she played the demo for this and asked a few days later when it was coming out. We are going to be a superstar tag team taking turns to complete sequences.
Really appreciate a game that goes out of conventions and opens up to more people like that without being casual.
Although it'd be cool to see them maybe make a cameo, i think uncharted really does well with it's variety of characters. Tenzin for example was a character we never even could understand but we all loved him, and he could have just not been in the game and replaces with... sully?
I think it'd be cool to see Sully make an appearance at the start and maybe one of the girls to crop up later on, but i'd be more excited about new characters than older ones.
The game DOES have motion control... This isn't really news, it's like saying Mass Effect originally had controller inputs. Obviously.
I couldn't be bothered with the whole website code business (Well, i COULD but the website was broken then and i never felt like digging through my history to find it again when i could just wait for a few days or so). So the Heavy Rain demo is way up there.
I'm tempted by Dantes, Mass effect and other games. However, Heavy Rain is the only one i really want this month. I've been in a shop and passed up the other 2, due to me not having time for mass effect and being skeptical of...
It's half the title...
I thought when the game died recently it kind of... you know... DIED!
It seems even the death of the company that owns and made the game can't stop this thing's spectre from being raised.
I never cared, and now don't care and am slightly annoyed.
He's a shaman.
F*ck off, come back, then f*ck off again.
Theres not nearly enough crime there to support a GTA, maybe it could be one of a few locations though. It'd be called Brightham or something though.
They make some unbelivable crap, i would know, i own 3 of their games on the PS2 purely because they all had Zombie in the title.
This article is it.
That its just... you know, dark rubbish weather when he said that. Fry is sure to be cryptic, he loves that stuff, but still... theres just as good of a chance that its just dark outside, this is twitter we are talking about not a press release.
Will someone do a comparison between the madworld teaser and that trailer and see any improvments have been made.
Mainly because the Mad world one was cheating a little and i get the feeling all of them have been?
Although, ironically from what i hear from people, gears isn't about the graphics to me, i always have fun Co-oping locally with my friends on these games, so as long as they make it last longer than 7 hours i'll be a happy camper.
