Melman26 actually you are incorrect sir. Games have not cost $60 since 90. Games were retail $50 during PS2 xbox generation. It increased 20% to $60 last generation to off set extra development costs.
Who gives a s*** anyways. Game development cost is the publisher and developers problem. If your game can't sell to support the development cost then you make a cheaper game or a different game. Do Not fraud your consumers for items that should be included in the origin...

Actually NPD stopped disclosing detail numbers around a year ago. IT was a big deal here in the news section, but its been awhile so many may have forgotten. Thats why VGChartz is the closest thing to sales figures the gaming public has any more.

F2P game with microstransactions is ok because for instant on Warframe the whole game is playable and you can grind the game out to get better gear or support the developer and purchase an item instead of grinding.
Microtransactions attached to a game you have paid 60 or 70 for...not ok.

It not just about microtransactions, its the idea that todays youth thinks it is ok to start spending money on an incomplete game.
Microsofts launch model is not good. KI is incomplete and the new Forza has about half the content as the previous game for the same $60 then to get the rest you need a season pass.
