They just screwed everyone who recently bought an "older model"
Edit:
At least it looks like it's really a significant enough upgrade, thus it can be considered a new handheld actually.
Mindbogglingly stupid move regardless. Cause even if they continue to support the "old 3DS", they have spitted their audiences. Not to mention the confusion this will spark...
OMG Nintendo why do you have to sour everyone's feelings towards Xenoblade with this kind of stuff.
Though it doesn't really concern me as I don't have a 3DS and already own a copy of XB for Wii to play on Wii U, but only "new models"?
Seriously Nintendo! So many wanted this game and missed out already thanks to your lazy localization attitude and now you pull this one?!
Why not say you silently made a new handheld altog...
I'm super happy they are doing a port of some sort but the exclusivity to "new 3ds models" is bitter.
Still which they'd simply release HD port on the Wii U eshop.
OMG... I'm getting goosebumps right now.
Sorry Link, but I fear I will have a new main in this smash bros.
Not to mention the awesome xenoblade themed stages. And the music!
Consoles punch above their weight, but you are generally right about that. I would put it differently though.
"The time is now!"
Good slogan. In my head, I hear it with a Dunban(Xenoblade)-style voice.
SHULK!!!!
Lol, the old PC vs Consoles dispute.
Why can't people get over it, that both have pros and cons?
The Wii U was made for this game. That being said, has there been any word about a possible western release?
TBH I found the quests in XB1 were quite user friendly enough already.
I hate it when games take me by the hand and guide me like I'm some retard. I really hope it's not becoming too much "user friendly" and most importantly can be turned off if not wanted.
But to be fair I understand that quests in XB1 could be quite painful, if you couldn't find the quest giver anymore, cause you couldn't remember his location or didn't know ...
Saddest part to me is that many games, the modern gamer normally would consider as "hardcore" are in fact completely "casualized".
Shulk confirmed for smash! YES! YES!
http://www.youtube.com/watc...
on a side note, kinda sad this got revealed through a leak
Indeed! Arena Commander rocks!
My future yet to build PC based on a "intel skylake i7" and "gtx 980 (or comparable)" with 32gb ddr4 ram is... well not yet ready. But come 2016 it will!
My i5 3570K/gtx 680/16gb ddr3-build will suffice till then.
lol, these guys at kotaku... this vid has been out for more than a week.
It still baffles me how many people don't or didn't know yet this game will feature
- full fledged skill based space ship combat,
- detailed and entirely worked-out and walkable ship interiors,
- multi crew ships and strongly variable ship-sizes (from single seat fighter to 1km long capital ships)
- complex and accurately calculated space flight physics, ...
CIG doesn't want to pin themselves down to a precise time frame for a release date at the moment, they might not be able to hold. But that is alright. TBH I'm very happy they take their time to get things done correctly, rather than releasing something prematurely. The Star Citizen pre-aplha "Arena Commander" is incredible already.
But if you follow the development closely, the current best projection for a release date for the basic game seems to be be end ...
Edit: dang double post.
I'm jelly.
Damn Nintondo, y u no release FF here as well
Well, I will do my part, that's for sure.
I'll wait for the "Super Duper New, this time really, 3DS double D". -_-
