To me it isn't horrible, but it isn't great either. I'd say it's slightly better than destiny was at launch. About a 7 or 8 out of ten.
Gimme a warhawk game with seamless singleplayer and multiplayer capabilities with randomly generated content and I'd be satisfied.
Same here jyndal.I feel like randomly generated content is a next gen feature. Could definitely go a long way with helping repetitiveness
Yes your imagination can definitely run wild in gta but idk, I just don't feel like I've played a game that made me say"now this is the reason I bought my ps4"I feel like I'm playing the same gameplay experiences from last gen with minor graphical upgrades, from a naked eye perspective of course. maybe I'm just getting tired of gaming
I don't understand. So you want a linear experience over open world? Open world isn't the problem . the problem is the people making open world games aren't pushing open world experiences forward. not many are being creative anymore.
So far I think the gun play is much more fun, tactical and challenging than destiny but other than that I'd say their neck and neck as far as mediocrity is concerned. Nothing special to see here folks.
So once you max out your dz rank then what? Level up your weapons and gear? Only sounds fun if your a die hard for the game. One thing that I'm noticing about games like these are it's not about who's the most skilled, instead it's about who has the most time on their hands. Cheaters ruin online games. Gta suffered from heavy cheaters. Do whatever you want offline, but it shouldn't be permitted online.
The game has more mechanics than just exploration.
The loading times are bad but I can deal with that. To me the worst thing is all the cheating and the a.I is horrendous. Rock Star helped with killing the game by giving us kuramas. that being said it's still one of the best games this gen which is more of a knock on developers not taking chances.
You may be right. But I don't give credit to cod for this. I blame this generation for this. Give us innovation. Give us something different. Personally I want a gta or warhawk mmo but it'll never happen because triple A games don't take risks these days
It's a solid game. I feel like people are jumping on the ban wagon because of the good reviews but honestly it isn't anything special in my opinion.I haven't been hooked on a game since gta online first came out and I haven't been hooked on a game like crack since warhawk. I wan't a warhawk or star hawk remake. Why hasn't there been one? Nobody is dominating that genre right now. It's wide open. A developer should jump on the opportunity.

I'd answer yes but I think it's just due to the times we're living in. It's a double edged sword. It's like, I would like to know about the game before I purchase but I also like to be surprised. I think at the end of the day as long as the gameplay formula is good, seeing to much of the game won't matter.
So many multiplayer games drop the ball on this. EVERY online only game like this should have a deep clan system and it shouldn't be web based or hidden behind a bunch of menus either. Battlefront is another game that dropped the ball on this. Reasons like these are why I'm calling this gen mediocre so far.a deep clan system will easily add longevity and replayability to any online game. Especially shooters.
I love how balanced the gun play feels. The way the damage is dealt combined with the a.I. being smart enough to move around makes for an enjoyable challenge that has kept me immersed in the game so far. GTA could learn something from this as I'd still say it's one of the best overall multiplayer games this gen and the last, but the gun play is a disgrace , mediocre at best.
I think this game will be a commercial success but will have Luke warm reviews. I personally bought it and would give it 7/10.Ithink it's a solid game. It kinda puts me in the same place that destiny, watch dogs and battlefront did. Another mediocre game to add to the pile. I've just accepted that that's just how this generation is gonna be.
The division is Just a testament to the lack of good multiplayer games this gen. all of a sudden a mediocre game becomes good because there's no other options out.
