Probably not. For the majority (although I myself disagree) the wild west setting is probably less interesting than the modern day gangster saga that GTA is.

I already said this way before it released on xbox, having played it on pc. Its great fun but its buggy and laggy as hell. I think console gamers expect a higher quality, on pc it was fine but it was never ready for a console release and still isnt. Even worse, the devs seem to prioritise new features over bugfixes and optimisation. Tl;dr: I prefer fortnite
While I agree that Fortnite is better (mainly due to how buggy PUBG is, articles like these just seem like the author is badly trying to justify to him/herself why he/she chose one over the other

Wow, personally, Uncharted 4 was my favorite. It had a more engaging story with less stereotypical characters, and none of those crappy bullet-sponge monsters that earlier entries had
Been saying this all the time. Its a good premise, but the game is shit. Fortnite BR is way better. (PUBG doesnt run well on pc either)

Have you played PUBG? Its the same thing (except no traps, destructable environments or buildable stuff), just worse graphics, laggier and riddled with bugs.

Gearbox made the HL1 expansions. And as @NecoTehSergal said, Opposing Force was long regarded as the best expansion for any game ever.
I also had several issues with the original, apart from the characters, I also found the music much worse than previous games, maps (dungeons) were bland and the combat got tedious with a good party/gambit setup. I never got into the story either, not finding the drive where you just have to know what happens next and didn't really care about the antagonists. I did eventually complete the game but it took me a long time. I was also 17 at the time of the release
The market has grown too, there are more potential buyers now. I actually don't mind companies releasing a larger sized expansion a year or two after the game was released, its this strategy of having numerous small sized dlc packages (that are often quite expensive compared to what you get) that annoy me. Especially when they are released so close to the main game itself
I guess it is just the feeling that there's more (good stuff, somehow I dont mind bad dlc) to get but that it's locked behind a paywall. I also dislike when there's talk about dlc even before a game has released.
