Maybe it's what DICE wants to make? It's their game, so let them.
It's all up to you ... I care!
Wohoo!
Flatscreen TV's were also expensive when they were released..... The price will come down soon enough.
Yeah I'm not worried there will be NO developer support, I'm just saying the PC will have more.
Anyone can download Unity or UE4 for free and make something, and a lot of people will.
There will be many many gems coming, for both platforms, I think :) I guess I'm just worried PSVR version 1 will become outdated quickly.
When you factor in the fact that PSVR will have less developer support (in the long run) and probably a shorter life time as well (unless they make it work with the PC), the choice is not as clear anymore.
I myself will probably get an Oculus or Vive, once the price has gone down enough for me to justify it.
It looked better, that's why.
Plug in cable => better ping
Looks very cool! I wonder how useful this feature will be though, usually when building levels you want to have absolute precision when placing stuff
(To author):
I think you meant navigating the wilderness (far cry: primal) not negotiating :P
Looking cool!
No, thanks.
@thekhurg
What? Usually games on PC lives MUCH longer. I cant think of many 10 year old console games that are still alive, but there are countless PC titles like that.
Same thing with gpu compute. You're basically asking the gpu to calculate/perform something instead of having the cpu do it.
That's basicly what it sounds like to me. So dx12 allows you to use functions calls to send shader input data from multiple threads instead of just one. I'm thinking its directx that's impressive then and not the usage of directx features. Am I wrong?
Impressive tech..? It's not HARD to do multithreading or gpu compute (as long as the machine supports it).. You just have to figure out what you want to use it for.
Now I can hope to get a job there without learning japanese.... :)
Releeaaaasee!!!!!!!!
Been wanting this on EU PSN for a long time
I removed Win10 from my laptop. Now I'm running Ubuntu.. That speed!
