what I find funny is that after listing 5 trivial or illogical points (level 5 pipe, out of bounds really?) the author then states there are other points where he is "nitpicking", how far down do you go after "I can't break the plates". I stopped reading at nitpicking.
Unless I see a steady stream of exclusive content, and I don't mean the usual zelda/mario yearly releases alone, I'm talking a lot of GOOD exclusive content. Only then would I consider getting a Wii U.
I mean why get a new system to play games you can get on x360 or PS3 with the same fidelity or maybe only slightly better, not worth the possible 3-400 dollar investment at all. Multiplatform games will not convince me to get the system.
they need to know 10 bucks off that price at least. Way too old a game to cost that much, digitally no less.
well its quest based and story driven so it should keep us interested for a while. Plus I've seen quite a few weapons and I'm guessing with the workbenches you will get some variety in playstyles.
Drop in, drop out is a huge plus and always a welcome. There are vehicles and the environments are based on an island so can be varied and gorgeous as well as dark and creepy. I also read that a storm was approaching the island so rain as well is added.

Ah FEAR, love the game, first time thru definitely was tense.
don't mind, plus gives my wallet time to replenish funds after this killer fall season. Just worried about next year adding this and Vita to the mix means its gonna be even worse than this year...poor wallet I knew him well.
what does free to play have to do with this?
there is the option for using in game money, they player sets the price and it can be real or in game cash. Whats the big deal, you can play the entire game without ever bothering with the auctions. Its not like it will affect your normal playing.
why do people say things without thinking it through, where in the system is it that they are saying you NEED to buy anything to get everything the game has to offer..ITS ITEMS THAT PLAYERS FIND THAT ARE FOR SALE!!
The model is set up so those without time(or just want everything fast) can get ahead with spending some real or in game cash. And those who invest a lot of time can actually make money of the prior type by farming until they find the rarest of the rare.

How would you spend that money on something noone else has when its actual people who have to find it first to sell it to you? Remember they have to put in the hours to find the items before everyone else.
Don't forget that you will first need the required level to use those items as well. And I've never seen the best stuff for low levels. Also whats the big deal if you want to waste money to ruin the game for yourself as there will be litt...

I have never heard of that happening at all. And no you're not as good as the money you spend, you are also as good as the time you invested in the game. Everything someone purchases you can get by investing enough time. Where is the problem with that?
I hate micro transactions when they force a person to pay or be limited or disadvantaged, nowhere here are you getting limited, its like any other rpg, you spend the time and you will get strong...
Diablo 3 is not going to be an MMO,or a PvP focused game so who's winning? You play the game how you want and at your own pace and how does the monetary system affect you?

what's wrong with it? If you want you can sell your items for ingame or real money as long as someone wants to buy it, then you can either keep the money in the system or take it out with a percentage going to blizzard.
They aren't putting premium items up for sale as everything will be player 2 player sales and everything can be found in game by anyone if they invest enough time.

Here's hoping a new PS3 or a price drop..or both...is announced, my PS3 is making me worry recently. After 3 1/2 years of great performance it has early signs of YLOD, I hope I am wrong but if not might be nice to get a new or cheaper one.

That's just not right, I can understand online content as you have to have internet to get access in the first place, but what about those who are not connected to the net, they lose piece of the SP experience, even if its a small part.
