it depends on the game for me, FPS and racing should always be 60fps and it depends how much difference there is in the other genres, as in how much better looking versus fps.
I agree, its a pretty straight forward shooter with quest mechanics thrown in but a lot of fun, amazing enemies and weapon controls more than make up for any shortcomings. Not to mention pretty good looking as well.
depending on the reviewer it will range between 9.0-10.0 not lower. But who cares Collector edition release day delivery from amazon is all I need :)
let it die? Not a chance, I still love the R&C series and even after all these games its still a lot of fun, some more than others but still amazing. If anything this latest one might kill the series, at least for me, I played the beta and did not like it too much, it was ok but didn't really feel like a R&C game but more like highly polished minigames.
When I play a R&C game I don't want to have to worry about teammates or be restricted in my exploration ...
After the number of people these "mental patients" kill in real life someone would've just put a bullet in their heads and noone would care.
I mean how many hundreds of dead bodies before a police officer just shoots joker when he's being transported or an arkham guard just gives a lethal dose along with the happy pills.
Still if you kill the super villains then you won't have a comic book or non zombie related video game sequels.
thats one I have to pick up soon, Bastion was damn good and Orcs Must Die just looks like a lot of fun.
got it PS+ and loved it but I beat it in one long session and while its a lot of fun, the $15 price tag was a bit too much, don't know how good the DLC is but I think 10 bucks would've been a better price point.
it needs to have no time limits at all, we are way beyond such an outdated gameplay type, that's what lost me early in DR2 and why I'll never play DR2:off the record, sandbox mode is not enough, I don't like a game rushing me, especially when killing zombies, which is why I like Dead Island even with its flaws.
this is probably the highest rated kids game I've seen and the fact that its both kinect and Sesame street is bonus for the kids, great for my nephew as well, maybe I'll get it for him.
this is the first and last review I'm reading and even then I skimmed through it, I want nothing else spoilt for me in the game so I'm going into a media blackout for Batman AC :)
I have to agree its like people read and see that its a sim racer(its even on the case) and then are surprised when that's what they get.
So I can't like both Forza 4 and GT 5? Must suck to be you that you think you must chose one or the other.
the trophies for this are probably gonna be hell to get :)
Firstly do you really think a site as big as IGN would be "desperate for hits" they are the biggest gaming site there is, they're not exactly hurting.
Secondly your baby analogy is severely flawed. It has no relevance to your point and even that is flawed as well. Its very simple, people like me want to know when the review for Batman AC is coming out, they tell us when we can check back for the review, how is that not just a nice bit of convenience.

See I didn't know when the embargo is lifted and I read IGN reviews so its nice to know when its coming and I don't mind the little articles like this, why should it bother you its clearly written in the title what the article is and no one is forcing you to view it.
ohhhh yea...one of my favorite games of all time..
can't really call it a simulation then if its catered for everyone can you? Forza 4 is an amazing game but its not really simulation, just has all the things that make a simulation game but the controls(with all assists off) still feel arcade like(too forgiving).
Its a smart thing to do as it lets more people enjoy the game but I still feel a little annoyed when people say its simulation and its not really...but that's a personal issue mostly. Again the game really is am...
very much agree with these guys, I did not ever feel the need for MP in Mass Effect 1 or 2, plus it really will detract from MY story as I made my character and the decisions of 2 games and adding MP like Co-op will not appeal to me.
This is a good example of Unstoppable force vs Immovable object. Unlimited power and rage VS unparalleled regeneration.
firstly he's a playstation editor not PSP, there is a difference.
second you saying
"He mixes in about 75 percent generalizations, 10 Percent false statements, and about 5 percent fact."
without actually showing were these examples from the article are is just as much conjecture as what you claim the author put in the piece.
Finally every single article on every single website that makes money of ads is "for hits...
