Can't wait to play this, what a way for Sony to send off the PS4 shows they have their priorities straight.
Microsoft keeps telling us how important it is that their new system will play games from 1 to 2 generations ago really well. Why should people care? People buy new systems to play new games that aren't possible on old hardware. Microsoft is as clueless about gaming today as they have been since half way through the 360 era.
Xbots will be waiting forever for Microsoft to deliver. Its safe to say that their July event will dissapoint to, just like all Xbox events do. They are the kings of talking big and never delivering. Truth is most don't care whatever Xbox is fumbling around trying to do, Sony is the only game in town for next gen if your paying attention.
How about current gen? Because there has been a lack of high quality exclusives on Xbox this gen and the later part of last.

Backwards compatibility is one of those features highly talked about rarely used. When i get a new system i want to play new games exclusive to it. I remember when I got the ps3, it could play old games off the disk, never used it.

God of 3 is the best of the Greek mythology series, the set pieces were the peek all the previous games were leading to. Ascension was a very good game aswell it was weirdly positioned after Kratos killed all the Greek gods in 3. That said GoW 2018 is the best game in the series and its not close. Its writing was league's better than what came before and the combat i found to be more mature. Its problem was the lack of epic boss fights we saw in the previous games, given its more grounded...
I agree, I said the exact same thing a couple days ago. Game production isn't free or cheap. You get what you pay for. That's why I support paying the cost for games within reason. The gamepass model is antithetical to big budget spending on game production.
The ps4 has thousands of games in its catalog which will be there for those who don't want to upgrade to the ps5. The notion that Sony starting to build a library for the new system is somehow unfair is absurd.

It comes down to games always has always will. The heated spec debate leading up to both consoles being revealed was entertaining but largely irrelevant. This is a visual medium first and foremost if you can't impress visually like the competition than you're lost. That's why the demo was so effective because it cut through the bs debate and pronounced loudly "this is what next gen will look like on the PS5".
