When was the last 'Game of the Year' quality title that came out exclusive to the 360? (Not PC or PS3).
Gears 2?
CoD4's story mode wasn't really special because of the story, but more about things that happened that I ,personally, haven't seen before. A couple of big ones that come to mind is the Sniper level. It felt new and refreshing compared to most games. Also when the helicopter crashes and you take control of the guy with the nuke going off, then you die. There were several parts of the game that just felt new.
This is coming from somebody that hates CoD4. I personally think the MP ...
From the screenshots/artwork that scrolls along their website. I'm not to impressed with this game regardless of which platform it's on.
They've been going at it for years on far more than the video game industry. In fact, 'out of my video game world' is where I'm already at. Google and MS are having arguments over E-Reader stuff. As well as Google coming out with an OS to compete with Windows based net books.
Do I even have to mention Ballmer throwing a chair at the guy that left MS to take a job for Google?
It is a video capture using in game assets. Which is why you have to be in Halo 3 and have the disk in order for you to see the video (same with Uncharted 2). A universal video recorder would basically take what you see on screen (probably giving you the option to include OS based things or not) and record what would probably be a WMV file.
MS and Google aren't exactly on good terms to begin with. So I really don't expect too much built in youtube support for MS.
Nintendo DSi - $169.99
Nintendo Wii - $199.99
Nobody is complaining.
Hell the Zune HD is technically more expensive than an Xbox 360 (at least with the $50 rebate). (PGR on an MP3 player leads me to believe it's MS's handheld gaming system now).
I'm a Sony fan, but why the hell are some of you so picky.
Another article about this says that it's a very, very heavily modified version of the source engine.
Besides, look up cinematic mod 9.5/10 for Half life 2. It proves that the souce engine can still look good (it's shame the guy didn't stay true to the character models though).
It wouldn't be THAT bad if it was something like every 10 levels you gained, or 10 treasures. But every single time? Can you imagine what it would be like when the game releases and everybody is auto tweeting that they picked up a treasure (x10), completed chapter 1, blah blah blah.
Good thing I don't use twitter.

Yeah man, the sense of speed is just terrible and nothing like real life at all!!
Any news on whether or not there will be snow/ice based tracks/modes like what were in GT4?

Can somebody post a link to the video proving that they used GTHD in the comparison?
Well Forza fans can talk about their 'superior' graphics all they want. I'll enjoy driving through every track at night time and seeing the truly brilliant lighting engine of GT5 working to the fullest extent. Driving through the London track seeing the building lights/billboards lighting my path. Or maybe Special Stage Route 5 with it's brillant tunnel lighting.

Who...
And here I was thinking it was because the PS3 has more quality exclusives within a variety of genres as opposed to the 360's 'AAA' games of Halo and Gears of War...
I'll take a large amount of quality over just a couple of quality games.
Texture pop ins or not, I think Forza 3's environments look better right now. But then again, he used two of the blandest tracks in GT5P. Not sure why he didn't use something like Eiger Nordwand where there are actually mountains and stuff in the background. They are snowy, but they are actually there.
GT5p easily beats Forza 3 when it comes to vehicles. But regardless, it's a racing game, and the most important aspect of any racing game are the physics. So when it comes down to...
As much as I want the update, I get kicked out of the normal text chat often enough that I am doubting a cross game voice chat will let me in at all.
You should try playing in a real map in CS. Not an FY_ map.
Sorry, but I can't consider those to be great K/D unless it's on a map that actually takes some skill (and preferably not Source for that matter).
How is it possible that they completely left out mentioning the Cinema mode?
The graphics of Crysis (which this doesn't even come close to), or the game play of Half Life.
I'll take the latter, but thanks for trying anyways...
Oh Dave, I always knew you were the smartest BnW (aside from Lethalmind of course). You do realize this means we are gonna have a clan match in U2 right?
