@dragonknight.
4chan and anon are the same fucking thing...
Ya know when you go to 4chan and click on random, it takes you to /b/... that is Anon.
I hate CoD. I really do. BC2 was one of the most fun online FPS games I've ever played. BC2: Vietnam was also just as fun, it just came a bit late.
But at this point the only way to outsell a CoD game is to just package a CoD game with your own game...
@ksense
To be fair, almost every Crysis video you see, somewhere there is a room flooded with water...
Nope Brink comes out May 17th in NA and May 20th in EU.
If Dark Souls releases this year, then no. But otherwise, more than likely.
I can't play the demo. It takes a few moments to find a match, but then it goes to the loading screen and freezes right before it starts the game. I tried deleting it, and redownloading, but it still won't work. Sucks too, the demo was going to help me to decide on whether or not to get the damn thing.
The black box was just HL2:EP2, Portal, and TF2 minus the HL2 and EP1 games. It was supposed to be a cheaper alternative, but then they update steam to support gifting, and discontinued the Black Box. It actually worked out well and even though I paid for two games I already had, I still only paid $50 for 3 brand new games, all of which I loved.
I can't stand him either. But that doesn't stop this game from looking fun as hell. They might claim that they weren't influenced by Duke Nukem, but there hasn't been such an over the top game fueled by badassery since Duke Nukem.
This game might not sell as well as Gears, but if anybody seriously expects it to flop? You got another thing coming...
I personally will be buying this and KZ3 on day 1.
@ Focker.
Honestly the Intro isn't that good if you haven't played through ME1. It seems pretty cheesy and just throws you into it. But if you played ME1, and got to know all the characters, who they are and why they are there, then the intro for ME2 is incredible.
SPOILER!
The reason Joker (the pilot) has such a hard time moving around is because he has Osteogenesis imperfecta. Which is brittle Bone syndrome. As after that your charac...
So far I only have a few complaints about the game.
1. For some reason the special events AI is all over the place. Some of them are ridiculously hard, while some are just a joke. For instance, the rally event (the first one you unlock, not the last) has terrible AI on the snow tracks. They drive so slow that they can't even drift around a turn. I think I was actually 1 minute and 22seconds ahead of the last guy on the last section alone. I shouldn't be able to pass ...
My only complaint about GT games is that the camera is way to static. That is why I have to play in either cockpit or bumper view. Like in the snow vid when he rolls over, if they would just make it so the camera detached a little bit from the car while it rolled over it would be better. Instead it clips under the track and IMO that just doesn't look as good.
That said, I love GT games, and I've never playing a racing game that was as much fun as having a PERFECT lap...
Okay, yes this game has bugs. A lot of them. The SP even has quite a few issues. But so far the experience playing this game has been far greater than MW2. I only have 2 days and some odd hours of total playing time online in MW2. That is practically nothing for a game where most players have 10days+. I'm not a CoD fan. For the longest time I content with CoD4, I liked WaW SP, but the multiplayer was terrible. MW2 I hated the entire thing after a couple of days of playing.
Actually Black ops is a steam exclusive from what I've heard. I already know in multiple interviews they have said that they are dropping punkbuster and using VAC instead.
Just because you can buy a PC game in the store, doesn't mean it won't force you to download steam to play it.
The AWP in counter strike wasn't a 1 hit kill if you got hit in the lower legs/feet.
Yeah, I was waiting for this comment.
Did you not read that part where the devs already said that they AREN'T, no matter what, bringing back Spawn nades OR custom games. The two biggest complaints?
And do you really think they are going to make huge level design changes before release? The only game I've ever seen make as huge of a change when it comes to level design after a beta was MAG. They redesigned the entire raven base on one of the game modes...
You CAN carry both smg and sniper, but that takes up the 'extra skill' slot. Which means your tiny amount of health gets even lower.
Pretty much everybody in the beta uses extra health/armor and if you don't and airbot will pretty much instakill you once it locks onto you.
Have you played the beta?
The new spawn system is completely broken. They took out custom games (including custom clan matches), they took out spawning on squad leaders, they took out temporary squads which means in order to be in a squad you either HAVE to play with friends or invite random people to your party.
People hated C4 in KZ2, they took off the flashing light, so now it's even harder to spot. Corinth Highway might as well be an armored core game...
And just for some memories (sadly it's from CSS, but it's the best montage in the history of video game montages).

Quick scoping definitely didn't start in CoD. It's been in PC games for at least 10 years. I'm fairly certain it was started in Counter Strike because of the quick switch button. You could shoot/quick switch/shoot, faster than it took to zoom back out. So people would quickly zoom in, double tap QS, zoom in. Which is another reason why in TF2 Valve added the power meter to somewhat help with that.
It's now pretty uncommon that zooming out of a sniper in CS is ...
If you read through the wall for that event, it's obvious quite of few of those accounts are there only to make fun of Anon.
