I'm guessing that is the secret they haven't mentioned yet. What's annoying is that I can pretty much bet it will be mentioned in every review, whereas the Cinema Mode in Uncharted 2 managed to get completely overlooked in almost every review...
I've somehow managed to grab one of those train lights. I just jumped right before it hit me and he grabbed onto it...
There is also a glitch on the lost city map online. If you take cover behind one of the tiny waist-high walls in the tunnel the camera gets stuck in the wall and you can't move left/right unless you get off the cover.
To an extent, I get what they are saying. Trying to play WaW (cut me some slack, it came free with my video card) was sometimes frustrating as sometimes the servers would be filled with mods. Now I'm used to Valve games where modded servers download the mods right then and there and I don't even have to alt-tab.
Maybe IW should allow that instead of me having to alt-tab go download this mod and blah blah. Oh and do away with Punk Buster, seriously. I have a better chance of gett...
Seriously change the way PC gamers play their games? No. Just no.
There is a this little company called Valve, with a nice piece of software called Steam and they are pretty much what's keeping PC gaming alive and guess why? Dedicated servers and user created content. Two things Activision seems to be doing away with. They are dressed for failure in the PC world.
The Onion is hardly unknown. In fact, it's probably got more viewers/readers than IGN does.
EDIT: Oh and after checking the lower scores.

Funny how all these websites are reliable when they give PS3 exclusives low scor...
Yeah... because he can't just rebuy a normal copy of the game with the $3k he made off the special edition...
Nope... no way.
I couldn't possible careless about it coming to PS3. This is a prime example of a game best played on PC. This and any Valve game of course.
For some reason, Sony thought it would be a great idea to start the Ad onslaught Oct 12th. The day before the game comes out....
I only complained that the citrus Halo Mountain dew tasted like ass, which it did.

Yeah man. Those trees sure are 'high quality'...
Sorry to bring it back to the GT5p vs F3 debate but... lolz.
It did do something different though.
It took the great stuff from 'great' games and put them all into one excellent package.
Uncharted was the most cinematic revolution of a video game since MGS1. Uncharted 2 builds upon that even further.
Uncharted 2 has unmatched animations. There is no other game that even comes close.
It's the first game to have a built in Machinima mode. (which Halo 3 does NOT have).
Hell it's even on...
Please I hope I can win this. I had to sell pretty much all my games to even be able to somewhat afford this one...
And there are still so many others I want.
Damn bills.
Did Killzone 2 ever take the number 1 spot for Amazon? I don't remember..
This list is far from fail. CoD4 was absolutely nothing new, innovative, or even 'extremely polished' compared to a ton of PC games that were out years and years before CoD4. It's the same thing that happened with Halo. Halo was a great FPS for consoles, and it did revolutionize console based FPS, but it did next to nothing for PC games. CoD4 is pretty much the exact same way only it was on more than just the Xbox/PC.
Glad to see I'm not alone.
As I was scrolling down this list I stopped at number 2. I said, wow. They seriously left out Counter Strike? Thinking they were going to put CoD4 in first place. So I take a deep breath and scroll down one final click of the mouse wheel only to be completely shocked.
Even after all the Halo talk, all the CoD4 talk. CS still reigns supreme on a top 10 FPS multiplayer list. And it so deserves it.
You seem to be forgetting about the original Xbox. I think there was this little game called Halo.
Seriously, without Halo the Xbox would have been screwed. They had no other game that can really be considered a system seller other than Halo. Although I do somewhat agree with your statement. Mainly because Xbox platforms are the only consoles that are dependant on a small selection of 'great' games (Gears of War, Halo). I mean hell, even Nintendo has, their 3d Mario Platformer, ...
How the hell can you compare MW2 and GoW and give them the same score? I honestly haven't seen anything from MW2 that deserves a 10/10 (I could say the same for GoW3). But in my opinion MW1 didn't have a fantastic story, just a few great moments. Do you really think MW2 will be much different? No. And the multiplayer might be good, but single player will not be 10 worthy at all.
I'd rate MW1 single player a 7/10 myself. If a game has both, both should be great. Otherwise, what's...
I was sitting here watching it earlier and I had a feeling game spot would spoil it so I just looked the other way with the sound off for the first 30 seconds.
Woohoo for me.
I've played the game through 3 times already and have a platinum and it's never once froze on me...
What am I doing wrong?
