I think it became a big hit because it's just genuinely a good game, all around. It does everything well. It's engaging, simple, pure fun.
Why not let the market decide? If Switch owners want to buy ports, then let it be.
I'm interested in having an action-adventure experience from FROM, even though I really enjoy the RPG elements from the Souls games. Can't wait to see more about this one.
This game looks like pure simple fun.
Looking forward to this a lot while we wait for the next incoming Souls-like games (GoT, Sekiro, Nioh 2)

*people are still somehow underwhelmed and disappointed
Couldn't disagree more. You play the PS3 version, then play the PS4 version and tell me which one is better. It's a proper remaster and you're blatantly wrong.
I actually loved this game, and I was definitely disappointed with how lackluster it was, but I loved it all the same and I would gladly welcome a remake.
I also heard that the reason it looks so washed out in the footage we've seen is because the monitors gamers used to play on weren't calibrated and they all had to turn the brightness up to 10 in order to be able to see, so the footage captured that we're seeing is at maximum brightness settings. Games always look washed out when you turn the brightness that far up. That's just what I heard, but it would make a lot of sense.
Companies need hard data to justify taking on something and a survey is a very fast and comprehensive way of obtaining that data. They're probably well aware people want it; they just needed something concrete to prove it to the investors/heads/etc.

YEEEESSSSS.
I grew up reading books about this wreck like a real geek so I'd love to see this on PS VR, I hope their development of that version is completed soon.
That's the kind of stuff I used to do to level up Sneak in Oblivion. I'm not surprised people are using this method to net points in a game that shows you stuff you should have gotten with your initial purchase but only lets you acquire it with a slow trickle of points.
The fact that anyone at all is shocked by the violence depicted is pretty absurd to me. We've seen far worse, far more frequently, for far longer in video games as whole. News flash for those opposed: you are the extreme minority and the rest of us are content with the level of violence.
This entire dealio is a non-issue. I can't believe people are still debating this as if it needs settling. The violence in the trailer was not shocking in the slightest because we've seen far worse, far more frequently, for far longer in video games. And the silence on that front means everyone is okay with that and they should be with this as well.
I disagree with focusing on things missed. You can miss a million things, all that matters is what you did right. This game's campaign did everything right. It's easily the best campaign we've had in CoD since Modern Warfare. I think they kicked ass with this one.
I don't have a lot of free time. I took off work tonight to play this game. I have stared at the loading screen far more than I've been in a fucking match. Shame on Activision. Absolutely unforgivable and inexcusable.
YES
I'm not trying to be edgy or anything, but was there demand for this? Like, did the fans ask for this? Because I feel like there's been a drive for an AC1 master far more than there has been for a remaster of 3.
