Glitchers. What is your playing a round and someone is glitching. Hiding in a wall or someplace you can't kill them, but they can kill you. I have not seen it in U2 yet, but other games are notorious. I have left many rounds of Socom, Gears & Halo because someone was glitching. I didn't feel I should allow them to boost their stats and diminish mine due to a glitch. So I left. Should I be punished for that? And I'm talking about blatant glitches, not lag issues.
Your comment is true and has some weight to it, but there are exceptions. Halo's gameplay has never been a letdown for fans. The only gripes may have been about weapon balance. It is still Halo. But, when you see other franchises that are not as big as Halo come along with gameplay as good as or better than Halo, Online components that match or exceed Halo and graphics that make Halo ODST look like a 1st gen 360 game, you have to wonder. If other developers feel they have to step up their gam...
that if their products on the PS3 were better, it could have been a different story. PS3 and 360 demand better quality than the Wii. Look at sales. Wii has so much shovelware that sales, but the same low quality games would not sale on the PS3 or 360. Had their early games not been rehashed PS2 sports games with high res textures, it may have made a difference.
There was not the same competition for the PS2 as there is for the PS3. PS2 did not have a popular system out a year ahead of it that was selling well. PS2 did not release along with a VERY popular, family friendly fun box up against it. The field is different this time and I think S0ny can do well, but shooting for PS2 numbers seems a bit of a reach with what is on the table now. Maybe something will change in the future. Maybe they will release something that makes this a Must have for all ...
One is mine, one is for my 2 sons. There are some games on both consoles because sometimes they play in their room, sometimes in the living room. Since I cannot take a disk between the 2 systems, it makes sense that I can have the games on both systems (Sharing). I would not buy 2 disk based games to use on both consoles when I could just take one back and forth.
More Co-Op missions. Send us back to the Island from U:DF with the zombies. Up the co-op number to 4 or even 6 and make new maps/modes to accommodate. 3 is fun, but 4 is better. The online MP for this is so great how you can do everything from the SP campaign. Hang on walls, climb, cover, it's all great.
When Live started, It was leaps and bounds above PS technology. If you wanted good online outside Socom and a few titles, you had to go live. At it's current state though, you can get quality online play on both systems. Plain and simple. I had both systems, but I came to the conclusion that I no longer wanted to pay to play online. I know it's a small fee, but it's a fee none the less and I don't feel I get anything I want for the Gold account that I can't get on PSN except a global standard...
Every cross platform game should be done by ND on the PS3. Then lets compare. I should start a series called "If it was made by Naughty Dog, it would look like this" and feature all the games that under performed. Madden running on ND engine. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Ghost busters. The list is endless.
I don't see any reason to update from my current PSP for this. Now, I checked the PS Store and there are 6 minis available. Including Tetris, FOR $10! The cheapest games on there are $5. What happened to the pricing announced at E3? For MY money, the PSP go and the Minis will stay shelved.
I'm so glad I got a 60Gb launch system. People complained (Which was very high) and Sony's way to help with this was to remove BC. Now, the complaints about BC missing is the biggie. If all the complaining in the beginning were minimized, price drops were coming sooner or later. The BC may still be included to this date if there was not such a backlash. Just leave the PS3s on the shelves, Sony would get the picture eventually. Unless their plan was to resell PS2 games from the beginning??????...
I just came into some new expenses and gaming money is tight. So, it came down to which $60 game to get. Halo 3: ODST or Uncharted 2. Based off of the mixed reviews, I think it's a safer pick with Uncharted 2. ODST may come in the future when money allows, but for now, I will not be getting it.
I renewed my Qore before the MAG beta was announced. No codes yet. Guess they blew a server when the first set went out. They should at least let us download it now while they fix the servers.
People with twitching issues, allergies that cause uncontrolled sneezing or while your sleepy.
I want to try it. I would also like to see it in a SOCOM like game where you actually lean to lean on screen to peek around corners.
but I was just voicing my drunken opinion.
Champions of Norrath and return to arms. I'm getting the GoW series. Not too sure about DMC though. Maybe.
I have never cared about how a gaming device looks. The font used for the name, the shape of a boomerang controller, the boxy shape of a console. As long as the thing works and is not uncomfortable to use, I'm in.
If it fails, it will get pulled and taken as a learning experience. Sony has been known to try new things. So far, it has panned out pretty well for them. CD Rom drive in a console. Incorporating a camera into gaming. Buzzer games. Don't knock them for trying the other option, not just going with the sure thing.
But the only thing I play on live is/was GeOW2. It is laggy, glitchy and relies heavily on being host to have the advantage. Live does have some nice features that come with it, but it is not the superior service it once was. When I play online, I want to communicate with my team mates on tactics, play lag free, balanced games. I can get this on either system most of the times, but I get it for free on the PS3. The extra is nice, but If your not going to use it, does it matter? If you don't w...
Not because of who said the comment, but it is 100% true. If you could scoop some dirt in a cup and sell it for $5.00 a cup and people bought it, why stop? Yes, they could get free dirt elsewhere, but if they are buying your dirt, go for it. Then to make it more appealing, pit some pebbles in it, a little bit of sand and clay. Now you have upgraded it to Dirt+.

I'll use the best shooter out now as an example. Call of duty has a mode (Ground War) where it drops more players in. The down side to this is I don't feel it's managed properly. I can't count the times I spawned in front of an enemy. You have to provide the space, and a reason to not just run around randomly. I have played the MAG beta. It took a little getting used to, but I like it. It feels good and responsive, unlike confrontation. Does it still need work? Oh yea. The mode available is n...
