The reasons? Just about all the "Free" games they are offering, I already bought. I don't like how they have a limited selection of full PS3 games for demoing. The Free games you get go away when you unsubscribe. This is completely understandable, but I prefer to own my games. The discounts offered so far are questionable. Some are nice and relevant, but the old Midway games were dropped to $2.50 from $4.99. They should have been this price a long time ago.
Once...
They want $29.99. I got it used yesterday for $23.00. Like Gran Turismo Prologue is still $29.99. Digital games suffer for this reason. It should have received a price drop a while ago to 19.
I agree that some of the PS3 slim purchases were original replacements, but we all know that many were refusing to buy a PS3 because of the price (and lack of quality games). I would say far more PS3 slim owners are new buyers than replacements because of the coupled price drop. With the 360 slim, there is no price drop with that model, only the discontinued models. Everyone I know that owns a new 360 slim took advantage of the gamestop trade in program of the older 360s. One guy even traded ...
My perspective, I never really hated on the Wii, more like Nintendo's direction. I got a Wii with hopes of this revolutionizing my gaming experience. The motion was interesting at first, but the gaming experience that went along with it did nothing to light my fire. The lack luster tsunami of games meant to entertain the casuals only drove me away after each game I spent money on was sub par to my Gamecube experience. This was Nintendo's strategy, their direction. This is exactly what...
Online play is free for most games. A few do charge for their online play. This does not limit the entire scope of online play. Add to that that they are thinking of making CoD Pay to play. That would affect the 360 more than the PS3.
Only because it looks like it was influenced more by the PS3 phat. AND NO, I'm not starting anything about who copied who, so stop it. Just pointing out the fact that it shares more in common with the original PS3 than the slim.
It's time to innovate the MMO genre. I don't mind paying for content because I buy what I plan to use. I liked the online for White Knight Chronicles. Free. Well designed. 4 player parties is a number that works. Community driven. Create your own town. I would take that and pay for extra places to go, extra content and extras that add to the game. Only if the slow combat system didn't completely bore me.
Sony, you may want to reconsider before letting this ship s...
Only EA games I have are NFS: Shift, because it works great with the racing wheel and Burnout Paradise because Criterion makes great games. I'm not getting TW 2010, even with Move support because the extra courses cost $9.99. In the 3 weeks it's been out, 2 more courses have been released, adding $20 to the total game cost.
As a Gamer, I want to play GAMES, as in more than one. I understand that the developers need to make money and feed their families. I have no pro...
QORE better drop in price. QORE has suffered in added bonuses for subscribing. I'm worried that this will continue with PSN+ and low quality freebies will be paraded on show as if its great because it's free.
But I would not pay for it though. The bad part for me is that the "Free" games they offer are ones I already paid for. It is pointless for me to get this service at this point.
Based off the article, for paid services, XBLGold is far better in value than PSN+. I totally agree. What is not mentioned is comparing the basic services EVERY console owner gets with their system online. Comparing PSN to XBLSilver has a completely different result. I would actually grade ...
I read briefly and saw it was Phantasy star. I did not hit the link after that. The title is a bit misleading though. Had the title mentioned Phantasy Star, it would not have received half the attention it got. Not that it is a bad game, people are just looking more toward a PSP2 from Sony than Sega during E3.
They better not drop the ball on this one. It has just went up into my top 10 most anticipated games. I miss Champions of Norrath and Return to Arms. Finally, the void shall be filled. Hope it is better than Sacred 2.
You bring in people who make a living "Being someone they are not", in this case, gamers. Actors who make their livings reading from "scripts". Maybe this will help in the casual market, but the push is alienating the fanbase that got you where you are.
I thought it said Kenetic, which would be cool for a Natal name (like energy in motion), but Kinect?
Well, mostly, Move pricing is still not known, but Move is. I expect something along the lines of 2 new, unheard of game IP reveals. Also, I hope for a wash of the PSP and a reveal of the PSP2 with dual analog sticks. A PS2 reveal, either in BD collection like GoW or DLC titles on the PSN.
But does it make it better than most of the games listed? no. Halo: Combat Evolved was better than Halo 3, of course that is only my opinion.
Title should read "My most memorable E3 moments".
An Uncoordinated pregnant woman looks to have difficulty playing. Better home this does not get out to too many viewers. They might think it is too difficult. That would spell doom if that was the casual players word.
Looks good otherwise though.
There is a 1.4 following out there who will never stop. The game is fine. Just need to expand it, more options.
People who subscribed to PS+ are giving disagrees to people who post that they did not subscribe, even if they provide valid reasons. Maybe that is what was meant.
