People that play typical shooters wouldn't enjoy a game like this unless it will turn out to be like one. I am hoping this is nothing to worry about.

End of the world. If the game turns out well nobody is not going to buy it just because of box art. People really are idiots.
It's a shooter that is worth getting, and I almost NEVER play shooters but this and Borderlands 2 are two amazing games for this year. I want to see more games like this and less crappy military shooters like *cough* Metal of Honor Warfighter *cough*.
I think you described it just well. The atmosphere in the original Uncharted makes it my favourite game in the series. Having similar atmospheric feel in FarCry 3 makes it a worth buy and it is a HUGE improvement over FarCry 2. I liked FarCry 2's world however it ends there as the rest of the game is incredibly broken.
I don't see how a Fallout or ES game would do poorly on Vita apart from the graphics. The Vita's hardware is akin to the original Xbox which had Morrowind (though I had no idea how good it played as I only have the game on PC). The Vita also has way more RAM than the original Xbox so in reality it is more powerful.
That being said I like this article. Nothing wrong with being critical of something you like. This is different from bashing the system but this journalist...
Looks like it should run on my PC in max settings. It has a GTX590 card in it and an i7-2600k. Also DX11 only, and PC-focused? I think Crytek is welcoming their original fanbase back with open arms.
This and Borderlands 2 are the two shooters worth playing this year.
If I was a developer I would just use Steam. Screw MS. PC > console for indie games.
I hope this will be just a patent and nothing more. This would be a waste of money. Nobody bought into the sunglasses 3D, why would the masses line up to buy this? Just with these glasses gimmicks already. Do what you are best at, making great games.
That is pretty much impossible to do unless you have like 3 or more studios working on the games. Look at Call of Duty, they have two different studios working on their yearly releases and it takes two years per game even though one gets releases annually.
Also I don't think it is a good thing. It's a good way to stale a franchise.
Just like the SNES with a slower processor than the Genesis/Megadrive. Games still looked and played better on SNES. Blast Processing all over again...
I play it on PC. I haven't noticed anything majorly wrong with the game.
Unless I suck on what? I am just not going to love the Wii U. How about that!? There is not a single game on it that I want to play. Maybe it is because I am not 6 years old.
Doesn't sucks?
Stupid hackers like this need to get out of the basement and get a life.
Why? Just get it on PC. It should work on the computer you used for typing your comment with. Valve games run on netbooks.
Because BF3 doesn't have the bandwagon effect Call of Duty has. Much of the reason why people still play Call of Duty is because their friends and friends of their friends play Call of Duty. Oh and the game is way more casual friendly than Battlefield, therefore arcade shooters appeal to a much wider audience than tactical shooters, naturally. Not to be a Call of Duty fanboy, I never play Call of Duty myself but there is a reason why the Battlefield community isn't as large. But then ...
I agree, we need yet ANOTHER generation saturated with shooters...
Nobody bashing the Wii U was going to buy one anyway. Why should Nintendo care?
U Play is just silly. You can buy the game from Steam but cannot play the game via Steam? It's like purchasing an EA game on Steam but then forces you to use Origin instead to play the game. What's the point?
