No. Gimmicks get over-hyped as being the greatest thing since porn but once you actually try them the fun lasts momentary and then it wears off and it just sits there collecting dust, just like every Wii, PS Move and Kinect in existence.
Have not played the first DLC but I MIGHT get this one, when it comes out on PC that is. Not a huge fan of the price tag, especially for 6 hours, but hopefully the "lengthy" side quests will add enough value to justify a 20 dollar purchase.
BUT IT DESERVES A 10 OUT OF 10 ANY GAME WITH UNCHARTED IN IT IS AUTOMAGICALLY THE BEST GAME EVER ANYONE THAT DISAGREES WITH ME IS A MORON AND AN XBOX FANBOY PLAY BEYOND UBER PWNAGE FOREVER!!!!11
After reading the comments from people playing the demo I'll go with them over Average Joe Journalist #372219 with a website that gives me server errors that I cannot even read the article to begin with. Buuuuuurrrrrrrrn.
Anyway I am so looking forward to playing and I don't give a shit what anyone else says about this game. Maybe this guy doesn't like anything without "Square-Enix" slapped on the box for sales or he is just trying to collect ad revenue ...
Sadly true for 90% of AAA blockbuster games nowadays.
If it turns out good enough I will MAYBE pick up a Wii U just for this game. But this MAYBE is a loooooonnnnnng stretch.
I hope (but also doubt) Retro would also develop the Zelda title alongside Metroid. I believe the game would've turned out way cooler than it would if it was developed by Nintendo Japan. Metroid Prime was feared among many Nintendo fans that the game would turn out a mediocre 2D to 3D leap for the franchise but Retro proven all of them wrong, with a game that far exceeded beyond their expectations.
Phenomenal game. A definite improvement over its heavily flawed and broken predecessor. A personal GOTY contender alongside Borderlands 2, and these games are a part of one of my LEAST favourite genres of games (shooters). That is saying a lot!
I don't really think you understood what I was saying, but maybe I have worded it a little different than what you are used to so let me clarify. I said I have not once played a multiplatform PC game that DOESN'T look better and run better than the console version. Every game I've played always looked and played better on PC.
PC isn't bigger than console because of Facebook games, but because most gamers outside America are PC gamers. Console may dominate the United States but PC dominates in European Union, Asia and many third world countries in Africa and South America. I have played MMOs with over 250 million players and the grand total PS2 console sales don't even come CLOSE to those numbers, and these are just games. Even that one crappy MMO for miserable battered housewives (aka WoW) at it's peak...
I haven't once played a multiplatform game on PC that doesn't play better or look better than on console.
Not overly impressive but not bad either considering some of this series is Japanese only and most of the fan base is in Japan. At least they are bringing over Xilla over to North America and EU next year. Between this and Ni no Kuni I am looking forward to next year for some RPG fun.
The ending of Mass Effect 3 made me cry in the shower.
Meh, I don't need generations. I'll play my games in their glory on my PC while watching console kids duke it out over the scraps.
Demo or not I am confident this game will be a buy. I'll download the demo because I want a taste of what the game is like.
The real crooks are GameStop and their used console games selling it at only 5 dollars less than the new game and raking in heaping piles of cash from the developers' hard work and not a single dime goes to them, either. Now THAT is criminal.
Hard to justify getting PS+ while living in North America when Europeans have it much better, however it is not like you can't register for an account with another region. If I ever get PS+ I would probably sign up for a UK account and subscribe with that. I am not sure if I could play the content with my North American account and collect trophies for it. I know you can play content purchased by another user on the same PS3 but have no idea how PS+ really works with sharing. Can someone ...
This makes me never want to get a Wii U, ever.
Maybe true in America, but America isn't the only country in the world that has PC gamers. Try flying over to European Union and Eastern countries, I am sure there are way more PC gamers than console gamers out there. I have played MMOs with a playerbase of over 250 million, that is more than the total number of PS2 consoles in existence. The PC gaming community is much bigger than all three consoles combined. Do at least 2 minutes of research.
Can't remember the last time I purchased DLC for any game. Maybe about 3 years ago unless you count DLC included in GOTY editions which I buy occasionally. But this game? I don't even have it or want it and from what I've played it is a piece of shit, so no I don't think the DLC is worth buying.
