Mobile? Throw it into Mount Doom!
Exactly - most everyone has applauded the torch exchange from Jaffe to Barlog with the God of War franchise. The originals still hold strong as pillars of gaming history, but Barlog has advanced the series forward with new breath and vision after its stagnation. I'd be absolutely fine with Twisted Metal given new vision IF handed to the right talent.
The 2089 campaign was such an amazing step forward for Pistol Whip, the way it weaved in the narrative. I was left craving more, now it's almost here!
Nice way to revitalize the community! What I'm seeing is an advancement in character animation, less puppety with a little more life. Look forward to trying this out. Hope they flag it as playable in PSVR! Dreams looks insane in PSVR on a PS5, due to open scalability of the game engine!
This was super cool! Never thought I'd see such a nerdy Olympic ceremony dedicated to all of the gamers of the world! :)
My PSVR might fog up the first time I enter that video store. ((I'm not crying man!!))
I worked at a Blockbuster for a year even. :')
A Crack in Time had the pinnacle of Clank puzzles for sure! Loved them, as they really racked your brain.
I did feel as if the Rift Apart puzzles were a bit TOO easy. If something wasn't instantly obvious, it became clear within just a few minutes. I'd like to see puzzles return to A Crack in Time level, but leave skips or hints for those who want it. -Maybe link a trophy for not using skips or hints as a reward.
I'm just happy that this many people are excited about handheld gaming again that is not on a mobile phone.
These will only drift skyward.
Can't wait to feel those rats clawing at my controller! :)
Glad to see this article, as I still find myself listening to the soundtrack on Youtube, even after having already finished the game. Got the Platinum trophy on Monday!
What an amazing experience it was all around, from the gameplay, the story, soundtrack, haptic integration. As a long time R&C fan, I am glad to see the series alive and well, because there was a time when I wondered if the ride was coming to an end. Kudos to Insomniac in finding a way to inject life in...
Exactly. My first Insomniac game on the Playstation platform was actually Disruptor back on the PS1 in the 90s.
But the chaos is next gen. ;)

@Sunny12345 Actually, I just went back and retried it on Remote Play with a DS4 right now, bc I had only briefly experimented with it.... and the half presses DO work on the DS4 also! There may not be that haptic feel to make the half press easily distinguishable, but the half press does work bc the DS4 triggers are still analogue and not digital.
So @Sunny12345, I surmise that you haven't actually tried playing Ratchet and Clank Into the Rift in Remote Play with a DS4 ...
@Sunny12345 Yes, I've had the game since Friday morning's launch. I've tried it in remote play from my PS5 in the living room, to my PS4 in the office and yes it IS playable. You may be limited to using 1 of each weapon's 2 shot types (such as a half press for precision shots, or full press for rapid fire)..... but the game absolutely still works, and you could complete the entire game... thus, not unplayable.
@enkiduxiv "unplayable" is waaay hyperbolic. However, both games are incredibly heightened w the dual sense haptics and I'd absolutely prefer to play with them. Still good games though on their own.
-I do think Rift Apart may be the best use of the dual sense outside of Astrobot's Playroom.
To be fair, this year is also the 35th Anniversary of Metroid, released same year as original Zelda. So the timing of Metroid Dread release is at least relevant, although I also would have loved a Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch release.
I'm with you on the lackluster celebration of Zelda's 35th. I am highly disappointed that Windwaker, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask HD haven't been announced.
Ha, yea that's what my laptop is stuck with, but at least it'll be good enough for an XBox One experience until I can buy a new desktop later this gen. I'm not a big XB guy, but I did sink a lot of time into FH3 & 4!
@CrimsonWing69 -That should have been their tweet about this issue! XD
"We're aware of issues being experienced while trying to download and play #StrangerOfParadise #FinalFantasy Origin Trial Version. Rest assured though, we WILL kill chaos!"
If you have PSVR and Hitman 3, then Hitman 2 definitely has a lot more value, being able to play all of the levels in VR!
