The publishers will implement the always online DRM, like they did with online passes.

And xbox720 and ps4 will support it or the game will not be published.

Maybe they will lose some core customers/gamers, but that's the minority.
Even if they lose 30% of their current user base, but I think it will be less.
Anyway, there's still millions of casuals or hardcore gamers that doestn't care, all they want is to play the next CoD, BF, GoW, MGS or whatever.
Publishers will be all over it, because the revenue will jump 500% even with smaller install base.

I don't think anyone likes NT, Sony fans hate them for going multiplatform, DMC fans hate them for ruining the franchise.

Trophy/achievement is ok for 3rd party games, but Nintendo games doesn't actually need them.
They have in game rewards like secret levels, and this is far better than a virtual trophy reward.

Lack of BC is a deal breaker for most gamers, BC should be mandatory or a standard in gaming by now.

I see more and more people playing on xbox nowadays, something that never couldn't happen in ps2 days.
Back then Sony was a synonym for gaming, they owned the industry, MS with the xbox brand was unknown.
I've had ps1-ps2-ps3, I feel it's time for a change.

Ps4 has a dual camera to, called eye toy, so it's pretty similar in cost.
And ddr3 is cheaper than gddr5,so in the end, costs would be equal.
And MS is rumored to have two or more SKUs, so if you want to go for a cheaper device it will definitely be xbox.
