Microsoft has never signed up for the Cell!!!
So that we can double pay to watch movies in HD. That isn't very good for the consumers, only Sony.
The game looks and sounds like a baby game, is it really? It seems like to many people are interested in it for it to be a baby game. What is this game really about?
I have nothing against microtransactions as long as they are developed and released after the game. The PGR2 packs were made after the game so buying them was just like buying an expansion pack but any content available with in 2 months of release should have been included.
was only $39.99 from day one. They did that because of a bad reputation of not providing enough of an update to justify the new game for anything more than a driver list update. That could be some of the reasoning for this, i'm not sure how the public has welcomed the games that got cut.
I don't think handing my friends a PSP to watch while i play would go very well. If i was handing them a PSP i would let them play a game while they wait their turn.

Maybe Nintendo will pull take a card from Microsoft and host a huge launch event taking over Times Square. It's already to late for Nintendo or Sony to announce anything even close to the scale of Zeroe Hour but there is still time to announce a standard launch event.

The Sims Bustin' Out and The Sims 2 for the original Xbox were both available in 720P and 99% of all games released in the last two years were 480P. According to Xbox.com over 300 of the roughly 800 games listed on the site run at 480p or higher. The PS2 games can't do over 480i and with the PS3 not upconverting those games never will.
If people don't like the way the game is being sold don't buy it. If no one buys it the company will lose money and then no company will chance making the same mistake. Every company is out for money. If they sell it like this they make allot more money on paper but if it backfires and stops people from buying they will lose money and know to make it cheaper.
That change would cost at most $50-100 per console, never the billion stated. Just like the fact that it is impossible for their game to sell a billion.
Glad i'm not the only one unable to do anything with that part.
Why are they releasing this game only on the PS2 and Xbox 360? That seem like an odd combination of consoles to produce for.

All other game adaptations and movie convergences have been bad. Why ruin this franchise as well. I'm still kind of interested i how they were going to pull it off though.
The reason that the DVD format took the place of the VHS is that it had the ability to quickly skip around. More important than the huge quality difference or any other new feature. An average consumer, the ones that choose what format will win wants a major feature that makes it a must have, not a gimmick. Sony's slim models suck hard. The PS2 Slim is a waste of money that is barely even a PS 1.5 from my experience. I may not be a PS fan but i've got a friend who has each and the Slim has insane load times and extremely poor graphics when compared to the regular PS2 and especially the Xbox.
Being a person that doesn't care about what is new and cool, i would rather play the games that i like. With the Xbox method i'm still able to go back and play my favorite game Midtown Madness 3 along with the other gamers that still come back to play it and that game came out back in June of 2003 while the EA games are on a private server and all of my Nascar games become useless after a year because they force me to upgrade. After playing the Demo there is no reason to read a review. There is no way any review can make this game any better than it is, and if any try i've already played the demo and know their wrong.
