I was pumped for this game! And then they announced its p2p and my interest has never disappeared so fast. Too bad
Averaging well above 60fps with a MSI R9 280X on Ultra Settings. Not too bad! Dips a little into about 50 depending on where I am in the city but game runs great on the new AMD cards.
Exactly what I was thinking. G-Sync is sweet and all but I already have a 27' LED Monitor, Im not going to be going out an paying $300+ for another one just to have this feature. Good option though for the people looking to buy new Hardware or replace their old ones.
They are giving the game 4 days early? where the bloody hell do you live...
The graphic portion is incredible. The gameplay i heard is reallyy similar to the current gen version, which isnt a good thing. I hate the new right stick ball control stuff. Terrible, still a buy for me though! Cant wait to see what they can do with 2K15 when they really get a handle on the next gen stuff
Pirate?
The gameplay and graphics are still great. Just the story is a little bit...bleh...kind of straight forward so far. Also the game does not have that great opening sequence like Arkham City did. So right off the bat (heh) it doesnt draw you in like the others have.
The embargo isnt lifted till the release, so tomorrow you should start getting them all over the place. Odd they didnt lift it till release day.
Spend over $700 to play one game?...I think I will pass.
I actually have the MSI R9 280X and so far it really has maxed out every game on pretty damn good FPS. Im picking up another one in December to crossfire. Really good card for the price
Same here. I was hoping for glory with NBA Live 14...then they released a little teaser...and that shot all hope down...then they released the full trailer, and that shot down any chance of me buying this over 2K. Kinda sucks, but i really want someone to give 2K some competition damnit!
What are you taking about? You do realize that when games are optimized to run on AMD hardware, they run better on AMD than on Nvidia. Doesnt mean that it runs horribly on Nvidia..not by a long shot. And how many games take advantage of PhysX already? Besides the Arkham Series, Metro, Mafia II...there are not a lot of games that really take advantage of that tech. Running PhysX takes a huge bite out of your performance when running a game, therefore you need a high end card to use it and stil...
Honestly dont know how many games are actually going to bother taking advantage of this with this next gen stuff coming up. AMD owns the gaming market right now and most games are going to be better on AMD due to next gen. And unless, like stated in the article, Nvidia gives AMD the ability to use this (Highly Unlikely), most developers will prob not take advantage of it. Neat though, like to see what it can do
Same here. Had the GTX 660 and was going to upgrade to the GTX 770 but instead upgraded to the R9 280X (will pick up another one in a month) and that thing shits on every game. Its awesome, especially for only being $299. Price Per Performance is amazing on the R Series.
The difference in min framerate is so minor its not a big deal at all. If it was off by like 20 frames, then yes. 3 on the other hand, not an issue
My first one arrives on Monday! Pretty excited to run my own benchmarks for this!
Gonna order one as soon as possible, and then crossfire early next year. Exciteddddd
Well no shit, did anyone really believe that a recommended card for a COD game would be a GTX 780? That was just ridiculous
Yes I have...But did I pay $60 for it? No. But this seems like it actually has a lot more qte events than Heavy Rain.
@Vishmarx
Thats the dumbest comment of the night. Congratulations sir.
