I actually found the story to be pretty sweet..I enjoyed it. Might have been a tad short but still good
I bet MS has more nails up their sleeves. It IS Microsoft and they still have a few more weeks to screw themselves over. One thing you can always count on them for.
Anddd....thats what happens when you dont read past the title.
Why would you use a scaler when you can naturally hit 1080p?
Why do you all keep trying to find excuses to validate the $500 purchase....BE PISSED OFF instead of defending MS...Its understandable to be pissed off at all this...
Right...cause in a world where technology thrives and everyone is always looking for the next big thing....we are okay with settling for a piece of hardware that cant do something that is pretty standard in todays times...and especially since that piece of hardware is going to be around for the next 10 years....Of course we dont give a shit. 1080p is too mainstream i suppose.
'You know last week i was buying a tv and i was juggling between a 720p tv and a 1080p tv....it ...
That made me lol Good way to start the morning! Thankss
The thing is that most PC gamers actually do have consoles, for all the exclusives. I have a main gaming rig that I will play all my games on and already got the PS4 paid off and will be using it for all the exclusives and the games that run better on a console. For example NBA 2k14, Looks phenomenal on the PS4 but the PC version is the same as the current gen versions. SO I get it for PS4. Simple as that.
SO Most PC gamers do have consoles, while most console gamers, dont usually...
@Clarence
Okay thats just one game. Now lets looks at total earnings by platform from EA in just Q1 of 2014
PC - $298 Million
Xbox 360 - $256 Million
PS3 - $238 Million
You underestimate the small community.
@Anialator136
RROD and YLOD every time. I play a lot of games and keep the systems running for long periods of time. They suck at cooling, well at least they did. While my pc stays cool and I can leave it running for days without even thinking about it.
@UltimateMaster
The startup cost of a PC is huge yes, but up keep gets cheaper every year. Look at the new price of the GTX 770, down to about $300 and beats the shit out of the PS4 and Xbox One...and thats older tech as well. I have a R9 280X which runs Battlefield 4 on Ultra with 60fps, will my PS4 be able to do that? Hell No, how about Battlefield 5? Nope. You think you are going to go 8 years without replacing a console? Your dreaming. I replaced my 360 4 times and my PS3 3 ti...
The story sucks. The gameplay is great yea, thats because nothing in the gameplay has changed....I mean NOTHING! Its exactly the same. And thats great because Arkham City perfected the gameplay. So therefore all the works has been done in that area and WB only had to copy and paste the gameplay, so they needed to work on the story...and they dropped the ball. The whole story is terrible, it does not draw me in at all. The villain fights are eh and generic. The best part of the game is t...
Its an okay game but brilliant is not the right word. Arkham City was brilliant. This one is generically boring. I have about 7 hours in so far and its not that good.
Do not compare Arkham Origins to the other two. WB sucks and if Rocksteady makes the next Batman game, it will be great.
Well we should enjoy this cause there wont be an NBA Live 15 after this. Will be cancelled again. This is bad.
Didnt they just release the first one?....and now this....so if I buy Shield 2, I should worry about a shield 3 coming out soon huh? Ill stick with my tablet and streaming my PC games to that with a free program anywhere in the house.
still very nice to see such low power chip be able to pull that much power.
Im not an AMD fanboy by any means, I will buy the best card for the price, But I did get the R9 280X and I do have to say it is phenomenal. Going to pick up another one for christmas for Crossfire. Cant wait!
But those are some specific parameters in order for you to even feel the difference.... So unless you do plan on playing CS every single day for the next 4 years, its not worth it. Most games dont require such a quick response with a lag that is barely noticeable to the eye.
The guy in the xbox trailer has the attention span of a goldfish, damn. JK
But a neat redesign. Nothing wrong with it
Eh cool, but unless you actually have the two right next to each other, its not really gonna matter that much is it? And if your PC can already handle games with VSync on without a performance dip, its not going to be worth buying a new $300 monitor to have this. I dont think its much a difference to really warrant the inevitable high cost.
But if you are looking to upgrade your monitor or get your first one, this is a good way to go though.
I do think that Cloud gaming will be much more involved in the future, but I dont think its gonna be anytime soon. I mean I know the Xbox One is bragging about it but I just dont see it happening in this coming generation of consoles. Maybe the next it will be much more involved but even then it wont be 100% cloud gaming, it will play a bigger part but right now, I just dont see it.
