After reading the article I can see why some Dev's are avoiding Journalists. Seriously they put words in the man's mouth. He only said that lowering Draw Calls wasn't so much a problem on the Xbox ONe as it was needed on the PC. He didn't even mention DIrect X12 directly, but that Buzzword of an API was put into his mouth with "Therefore blablablabla" by the journalist.

These days I"m very careful with saying E3's are epic. All the times MS, Sony and yes.. even Nintendo (Wii music.. *shudders*) said something was epic and it was just the gaming equivalent of a Number 2 Pencil, makes me very down to earth about expectations.
Okay from now on Sony is = $on¥ in my writing. Not because of money problem now, but how they money hatted in the past towards SEGA and Nintendo. They did not only start buying developers including some western ones that since then have been ruined (I still miss you Psygnosis!) they also sold hardware under the cost price, they where one of the firsts to start doing that.
So yeah... fuck $on¥.

That is not an accident, this is throwing someone a "Pitty wank". Vita is doing so bad in comparison to 3DS that Good Guy Nintendo decided to make a small ad for it.
Good guy Nintendo also knows that Fanboys are almost getting heart attacks on the blue and the green side of things, so they do it a bit slower in the console market, just so they will survive. Good Guy Nintendo... really is a good guy.

The PS4 also has about 3.5 gb reserved. It also is because Sony is careful (as is Microsoft). You can always give more, but you can never take back. So if in the future you wish to use some more memory for the system that isn't game related it will be veryhard to "take itback".
However if you plan things out and along the consoles lifeline see where the demands are going then you can release more to developers as things progress.
Actually 1080p and FPS are also buzzwords, if you just use them for advertising or in meetings just to make yourself look good. Technical terms can also be turned into buzzwords, ask any engineer. No matter how much you wish to bash Xbox Fanboys, a buzzword can very well be a technical term.
But then you also are bashing casual gamers again...
