First of all it is GDDR5 not DDR5. The rest seems like an old article that got resposted. I have major deja vu about this, didn't this get posted on here before but then with deliberate misquoting the developer to get clicks?

You know, I didn't think I'd say this but I agree with that Bro-Gamer :).

It will be one dirty point and click device eventually if you used a mouse. Now you can just flip through the patient's medical records without ever touching anything.

Because: Creativity!
It's far easier to release yet another shooter than to make a creative game that is universally liked. So almost all big publishers focus on those.

With a creative silly title you always risk that only a small portion of the masses enjoy the game.. and thus you make less money.

The times of the Dreamcast and offbeat games are gone, Indies are fun, PC has some great gaming... but don't expect EA or ActivisionBlizzard to com...

Microsoft also released shipped numbers last generation. I remember some people calling foul at that. So please can we stop this pissing contest now?

Bullshit! Sorry but it is.
After a merger you always lay off people, that is a sad fact but a fact nonetheless.

Many positions are now redundant. For instance you do not need 2 HR managers at the same locations.

It's a bit too early for that as they haven't really announced much for Japan outside of a launch-date and a "Notion of some killer Japanese titles TO ANNOUNCE!" crap.

It is crap because 1. They didn't announce anything yet, and September is getting very close. 2. The usual marketing bullshit.

Now about 1 month in advance (August) they should see some titles in this list. If not, and probably they won't, then Xbox will again be doom...

Layman:
It's not a benchmark but a calculation based on given results from existing AMD cards. It's again a click bait title from something already done earlier. Namely people did benchmarks on PC equivalent cards already. With similar results but then in actual benchmarks of these cards.

I clicked hoping to see some person who was able to publish some actual dev kit performances and to see how they would hold up. Not to each other, but standard GPU's.

And AGAIN A MISQUOTE! More and more are developpers trying to get away from journalists or give straight answers thanks to these kind of click baiting arseholes!

He said “It’s a pretty beasty processor – I reckon it will hold its own.”

He never said "IT IS A BEAST!" The intonation is very different in what it suggests. He likes it sure, but he never was "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!" while running in circles and waving his hands.

Nothing wrong with using a standard actually. But MS should have allowed for Chargeable double A's. So you could just charge them via a cord instead. That way you would have the best of both worlds and cheap replacements should they crap out after 1000 charges ;).

I know chargeable batteries already work, but I mean that they would have them standard also to charge them via the USB connection.

Who are these people telling me what I want? I wanted a Pit Figurine for ages now! And this one will be specifically for my playstyle:)....

Oh wait just remembered Gaming Journalists. Scum of the earth.. got it.

@EZ

It is true though it doesn't matter that much unless you have a big TV. Framerate however does matter, and there the PS4 is also faster.

But if we can let go of this whole resolution nonsense and focus more in keeping games at 60fps, that would be swell.

4213d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Let's put it into subscribers. Say 12 bucks a month on average (give or take subscription plans).

(165000000 / 12) / 12 = 1,145,834 subscribers. Not bad I think for a "dead" MMO. It's not WOW levels but good enough.

Ofcourse! Who cares for good Q&A and a well title that is well designed with no spoilers given until you play it.

When we can have early access to games and ruin it for everybody.

Actually resolution doesn't matter as much as people say it does. Image Quality does. Also amount of physics and other things happening on screen matter far more then Resolution.

A Next Gen Feature I would really find next gen is Armies the size of what we saw in Kameo. Far more detailed in Image Quality all with far better AI than the "puppets" they were in there. But with the limited CPU's both Consoles have that AI is not going to happen. PS4 might have t...

We're still on this? Including percentages in "POWAH!". By the notion of this you'd think that PS4 people hold their Console over their head every morning shouting "By the Power of Shu....I HAVE THE POWER!".

While Xbox One people do the same and say "Thunder.. THUNDER THUNDERCLOUDS HOOOOOOOOOO"...

Geez people we get it you had more then $400/€400 in disposable income, or your mommy or daddy had more of that, and now you a...

Too bad that games on mobile, even more so than on PC, are often tied to the most common hardware performance. So outside of framerate and maybe resolution you're not getting much more out of it.

At least on PC you can crank up visual fidelity as well :). I have yet to find a mobile game that offers more than "High quality! Low Quality!" as options :D.

*SINGS*:"CLIIIICKBAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT! " :D

He also said a lot more things, but ofcourse that is for other Clickbait articles like:"Microsoft CEO admits Xbox is underpowered POS by adding GPU's to the cloud in desperate attempt to save it".

If you read long enough, you can also paste that one together from the man's email.

Jup this one ranks right up there with the Misquote from the Sony CEO where he ...

Actually the man deserves a second chance. He isn't a bad hardware designer just had his head too high in the clouds and needed to be taken back to earth. The soundchip in the SNES for instance is his sole work.

So if MS can get him, they should. There are few other engineers out there with the same level of expertise and qualities. Maybe Hideki Sato from SEGA, but that man would be quite old by now :P. (The man who designed most of SEGA's home consoles and Arcade Har...

DUH! Ofcourse they are, Sony is as well. As is Nintendo.

After the launch they have about a 3 months resting period and then they start looking around for what might be hot in 5 years. Checking current technology and trends. Concept drawings etc.

To create hardware like this you'll need at least a few years. It's not that odd.
