Because it is all the Xbots and Sony Ponies have left. comparing spec sheets and ruining eachothers fun. After all what fun is there in just enjoying yourself with a videogame, it is far more fun in ruinig it for others :).

That's not frugal, that's common sense. For 250 to 300 you usually have a good GPU that lasts you for quite some time. Just some people like bragging rights, I mean think about it, most games will target the middle of a generation or so ago, so what you get in the upper midrange market will last you for a while.

I just am getting tired of the whole "My resolution is better on my toy then on your toy" crap. The reason I respond is to hopefully get some reasoning behind this, as really why even do it? It's a hobby, a toy, something we do to relax. Same as football and other sports, yes some do it profesionally but really do we have to behave like this as a group?

Then....the 360 happened.... the start was still nice... but damn what a joke in the end of its life. Bro Gamer console with loads of shouting in voice chat about how much of a minority of colour and sexual pers...
PGR 2 with voice chat on the original XBOX! Need I say More? Okay....
THat feeling when your Car, while dragging it's muffler over the asfalt, still comes second in the race (Even though you where rammed several times). The tricks you could do and the rewards you got for them during. The voice chat, when it was still fun and the 12 year olds of all ages (12 till 60) where not yet that dominant in it. It just was more fun!

Motorcycles do not make PGR, MSR like racing makes PGR. It's a shame that MS does not wish to make a new one. But the game probably doesn't sell well enough compared to Forza or Need for Speed series, after all the "we need hyper realism or lots of explosions" gaming enthusiast is very loud these days.

Jup, fanboys very often forget that. The more you push for something the more people will push back. If I keep hating something, you eventually will go "Hmm.. it must be a big thing if they hate it that much, let's check it out.".

NBK 2K14 is 1080P as are some other titles. So really the system can handle it, maybe not as well as the PS4. But it is just a resolution, so again comparing spec sheets rather then "fun". It seems to be a major problem ever since the last generation. Games like Kameo and Banjo Nuts and Bolts (Yes I did enjoy that game, not as much as Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, but it was still enjoyable), get tossed aside for games that only tout graphics and bragging rights.

It is part of the whole package, their old games are part of the Nintendo Charm together with their new games. Releasing their games on Apple IOS is only strengthening the competition. I mean why buy a Nintendo 3DS when you can play "that Mario game from the past" on your iPhone?
