That said, I love Larry and his podcast.

Obviously something they see or know prompted them to use this advert - is it the user-base? Is the the increased subscriptions in the inner cities?
As much as we all rag on M$ for doing things that appear "stupid" to us - a lot of the things they do have a lot of research put into.

Hilarious? It was stupid - not "funny" in the least. Hardly a review of a game.
Just throwing it out there:
I own both consoles (360 first, then I bought a PS3 about a year ago).
The same thing is said about the AAA exclusives on both consoles. If they are great, amazing games - they get mostly 8,9,10 with a few 6s and 7s in there. Great scores if you ask me - especially when we're pelted with 4s, 5s, and 6s in between the good releases.

Baldur's Gate II was such a great game, that if Dragon Age II is half of what BGII was, it'd still be an excellent game.
I'm assuming you don't like NHL? NHL 09 and NHL 11 were pretty good from EA.
Madden has been a joke on next gen consoles. Madden 07 for "last" gen was the last decent Madden - not close to Madden 03/04 or NFL2K5 though.
Also - it just goes to show you how much improvement can be done when there is dev time for a title... not that crap they recycle year after year with little changes here and there.

I know who Aaron Greenberg is - and I know his title.
I was simply stating that Major Nelson (Larry Hyrb) does serve as a sort of public liaison - inserting him into some sort of PR role - regardless of what his official title is.
