I think Gears2 will be better than Res2, out of the footage that was recently released for both games Gears was more impressive.
Res2 will have the better campaign mode(2 different stories - single player and 8 player co-op campaign) but GeoW will have better online, and that's what its all about.

Anyways, why so hard on KZ2, if anything this game has only managed to exceed ppl's expectations. Everyone's trying to call it out on anything they can but one thing is for sure, Guerilla delivering on the 2005 trailer was a collective slap to the face of all the naysayers.

I can honestly say, as a white person, I am deeply offended by yahtzee's insensitive remarks. For too long, the white people have suffered under an oppressive reign, being stereotyped as wealthy. The suffrage of our people must stop!
(On a sidenote, it occurred to me while writing this that if you replace the word white with another ethnicity, along with a few other adjectives, this statement wouldn't seem racist at all.)
The last Uncharted was alright, but I was expecting more out of it. The few puzzles they had were too easy. They need to do something to spice up the gameplay.
I remember b4 GTA4 was released and everyone was saying the DLC was going to be an addition to the city. Then the game came out and R* came clean w/ the truth - no new city, just add ons. What a rip. I will have traded this game in and will be playing a dozen better games by the time they get around to releasing more content.

And as far as online goes, when Home comes out XBL will be inferior. PSN already utilizes Dedicated Servers, XBL uses the highly inferior P2P structure. The upside to P2P is that it is easier to implement online features such as online chat/game invites etc.

I laughed my @ss of when this guy said the Xbox has a better library! There lineup sucks this year except for a few games. For how long they have been out they should have a lot more titles coming.
The XBOX360 sales for cheaper than the Wii in the UK, in Asia and Japan. That means they are selling at a loss, but that is all they can do to keep sales up.
But I'm only buying MGS4. NG is great and all, but it gets sooo redundant. I only finished the last one because I wanted to fight all the bosses.
MGS on the other hand is a lot less repetitive. They always have a variety of missions and there are a lot of different ways to go about those missions. Not to mention the story of MGS is 100* more interesting. I need to know how the series ends!
The PSP is currently smashing the DS in sales in Japan, this has never happened b4.

I own one and wish I would have got an ipod instead. Zunes are much more restrictive. Almost all mp3 player files are built for ipods anyway.

Yet for all your rambling on about black and white people you fail to see that they aren't the only races depicted in video games.
Take COD4's irresponsible portrayal of Arab and Korean people. In the COD4 universe these people are portrayed as villians shouting catchphrases that are the equivelant to "Dirka Dirka Muhamed Jihad!" I don't think it would be possible for an Arab person to play COD4 and not be offended.

I downloaded the EU version and was less than impressed. I didn't buy into any of the hype in the first place though to be honest. The whole nectar thing is just a gimmick. W/O it you could never make out the opposing players. And w/o your bright yellow jumpsuit they would never be able to make you out.

Yeah, the PS3 is on their second chipset, 65nm. They did it basically just to lower costs. They also threw out backwards compatibility because they basically had to throw in the whole PS2 chipset to accomplish it anyways. I don't really care about BC, I kept my PS2.
I thought 360 was changing their chipset to try and fix RROD though. That be interesting if they tried to come out w/ a slim version, Xbox hasn't done that b4. They just need to figure out what to do about the power...

Really though, how much better did ppl expect the graphics to be with its limited developement time? Same can be said for Resistance 2. But really, for Gears2 to be a better game they're going to have to focus on more than just graphics. How about some weapon variety.
