The sad thing is, Kotaku are supposed to be the "professionals". But I'm starting to lose respect for them like I did when Gizmodo bought that stolen iPhone 4.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it's not like the PS3 is going to come alive and beat the Xbox 360 to death in the middle of the night. What a visual, ugh, now I'm going to have nightmares... :(
I'm going to risk getting negatives, but I agree with you. Personally, I wouldn't feel right writing about games on my site if I didn't own every console/handheld and a gaming PC. My belief is if you want to be good at what you do, you need to drown yourself in the culture. And it makes you a better writer, because you have more to talk about. I can compare every system all day because I've had them all for years.

Yikes--I feel like that didn't warrant an article. If you don't want one cool, but I think it's silly not to have one, especially if you have a gaming site. In my opinion, games like Uncharted 2 and Littlebigplanet 2 are worth the price of the console alone.
