The system is aggressively priced, so why wouldn't the games be? I think the prices will range from $29.99-$39.99.
No, but I was most impressed by Sony's event. Which is shocking because I thought Nintendo would impress me the most with a new console, but they didn't show enough.
I know it'll be running current generation games, but that doesn't mean it isn't capable of exceeding those graphical standards.
At this point, it might be unfair to say if it's more current gen than next. Since the final specs haven't been released.
I must admit, I'm a little confused too.
I agree, it's good, but it doesn't have the magic of the original Wii's reveal. Tablets are so mainstream now, I don't see the casual crowd jumping on the U in full force.
The thing is, we really can't trust the previews. Most of the bigger sites are afraid to give actual opinions in a preview. Like I was watching a video with an IGN editor talking about the Xbox 360 event, it's looked like she was holding back and was afraid to say it was average at best...
It felt more like they were showing off a new peripheral and not a new console, I'm going to pick one up, but I'm slowly becoming indifferent.
They didn't go with PSP2 because it sounds too much like PS2.
It's not as good looking as Uncharted because of the art direction, but trust me... in the hands of the right developer they probably could produce a game for Wii U that could blow Uncharted 3 away graphically.
But that's not saying much since the PS3/Xbox 360 are starting to show their age. I know a lot of fans don't want to admit that, but it's the truth. Both consoles are still good though.
It would be pointless to change the naming standards now.
I'm more than positive they won't require you to use the touch screen. That would be silly in this day and age (for a game that's not on a smartphone).
Game looks great, but why is Drake chubbier? Hopefully they make him look more like the normal one before the game comes out.
It's gone but a found a site that reposted the whole thing, is it okay for me to post a link in the comments?
Opps: That was my last bubble, well here it is if anyone wants to see it. Since Kotaku pulled the story

If we can't post links, sorry mods, you can remove this post....
Well that sucks, maybe I can find a cached page.
Ugh, I'm a huge Apple junkie--I buy every new iPhone, but smartphones will "never" replace handhelds. You want to know why? Because they don't have the controls are the "AAA" games like Uncharted, Pokemon, etc. End of story, power is useless without the games and controls.
So.. has anyone notice there isn't any preview? Did Kotaku break an embargo or something :)
Yes, you are free to state your opinion, but it seems ignorant of you to say "nothing" will make me buy a Vita. After all, if you're a gamer, every new console should have a chance at some point, nothing should be an absolute no.
Or if you're going to say something like that, at least give your reasons, because if you don't it looks borderline trollish...
I don't play first person shooters, but for some reason I want to side with EA. I feel like Activision are being arrogant and they need to realize that the COD bubble will eventually bust, and they'll be left to pick up the pieces.
Personally, I wish Dice would have decided to work on Mirrors Edge 2 first. I guess that game took too many risks, and sadly most gamers want more of the same "war" type games, sigh...
"Fifth, you don't even need 1080 with a screen that small. Nobody could even tell the difference between 720 and 1080 with that size of a screen."
Sorry, but I can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on my 17inch gaming laptop, so why wouldn't you be able to on a 24inch TV?
