Wouldn't you have to buy two games? I figured you'd just be transferring saves back and fourth if they did it like that. Still, that might not be a bad idea.
No disrespect to the author or the website, but these “articles” are...umm "Lots of cool things" isn’t newsworthy. It's your typical non-answer, and it's a little obvious. Of course they're going to announce some cool things, it's E3 after all. The guy was just giving a “really” vague answer. It’s the only thing he can say without losing his job. This doesn’t mean there will be new exclusives (although anything’s possible). Come on, we have to stop encouraging stuff ...
Lol, okay? :)
This game is getting crazy high scores. Can't wait to pick it up.
Okay, I had no intrest in this game, but after watching this video... I'm impressed.
It'd be silly to sell and re-buy a PS3 this late in the game. Just keep it and wait for the PS4 that will probably hit in a couple of years. Then sell the PS3 and don't look back.
Also, why does the bad articles always get so hot? I'm starting to think the title is the most important thing, hmmm...
So this got approved despite all the reports, watch it get to 1000 degrees. Kinda sad because it's a little misleading since most people will think PSN got hacked again. I like N4G. but maybe it's time to pay someone to check some of this stuff. I'm not even sure if this can be classified as gaming related.
Yeah, it's happening, but don't you think it's a little late for these types of articles? It's time to stop with all this and go back to reporting real gaming news and opinions. I could log into the admin section of my site and type up an article about "how people are trading in PS3's on Ebay, or how my local (Canton, Ohio) Walmart's PS3s aren't selling as much as they use to, because the PSN outage (that’s true if someone wants to use that idea, go for it). ...
This might have been "relevant" a week ago, but now it just looks desperate. Enough PSN articles already, it's back up, now can the gaming press move on.
Anyone getting rid of their PS3's because they couldn't get online really need to look at why they're gaming in the first place. I like Xbox Live and PSN--but if they suddenly got taken away, I wouldn't just give up on the systems.
It must suck being addicted to online gaming......
Makes sense to me, you guys have to remember that ND considers each Uncharted game a "standalone" story. So actually, Uncharted 3 isn't even a sequel to Among Thieves. Just another event in Drake's life.
Yeah, that's why I check every time I see something reported "lame". Sometimes it's justified, like if this got reported, but other times it isn't. There are people that report stuff just because they don't agree with the opinion being presented. I think that's truly lame.
The video doesn't even work (at the moment it's just a black strip). How did this get past everyone again? Isn't it against the rules to have people visit the site just to see a video?
With that said, I don't think it's funny. Even if you already have most of the games (like me), it's no big deal, just get them and give them away. The important thing is PSN is back.
No... it's a disease.
Seriously though, there's nothing wrong with favoring one console over another. Using a computer example, I use Windows and OS X, but I prefer Macs. Always have, always will. I only have a Windows machine for gaming, since it's too costly getting a Mac that can run the games I want.
Anyways, even though I prefer Macs, I don't go out of my way to bash Windows. That's when you truly become a "fanboy". It's...
Ehhh, hard to trust a site that you can't even leave a comment on. Besides, they're reading too much into this, but anything critical of Sony shoots to 1000 degrees... so whatever.
Yeah, it can add to the game if it's done right, and not just for cheap thrills. It's only lame if the developers make it that way.
I own most of the games, but I still think it's a good deal. There are a lot of gamers that never owned some of those titles. Honestly, I didn't think they'd give out full PS3 games. Still, even though the games won't do me much good, there's no point in complaining about it. PSN is up, now it's time to move on.
Just got my copy, but I'm using an Asus G73, hopefully it runs good on AMD graphic cards.
I find it amusing how HHG can get away with these titles, if I wrote an article and named it something like this, I'd get reported seconds after pressing submit (not that I'd want to, reputation is more important than hits in my opinion).
It's crazy how these titles sound like they're positive this is the truth. But I'll admit, I'm envious he gets to go around and interview people in the industry. I just wish he'd show a little more integrity and s...
Yeah, what's with that? I noticed that too when they tried it with me, I said, no offense, but give me a "sealed" copy please. I'm not spending full price for a game that was opened, for all I know, they could have taken it home and played it.
@ Pedro Yeah, you're probably right. It wouldn't make much sense to require us to purchase it twice. It'd be cool to take a game from the couch (PS3) to the bus stop (NGP) or wherever and pick up where you left off.
