I’m still in the beginning but I can say, without a doubt, that this is some of the most fun badass combat I have ever played in a game. It makes you feel like a bad mf. I haven’t played enough to discredit a review as there is more to a game than visuals, sound, (which are both awesome) and glorious combat. Wow. I haven’t bought a disc game in or about 2 years. That digital PS5 looks better and better as the time to launch gets closer. It’s not like my PS4 is going to disappear... it can play the few disc I do have.

They ruined the series a long time ago.
Used to be one of my favorite series ever on my Xbox. Splinter Cell was great, but Pandora tomorrow and then chaos theory were incredible. ESPECIALLY the online. Then they took all the things that made it great and destroyed it and sent the game farther and farther from splinter cell and closer and closer to the dumpster. I would pray for the best but expect the worst with this terribly tainted series.
Sony drops bombs every single year. New console this year and they still holding nothing back. Serious question, when and what were the last 5 Xbox exclusive bangers? You can love Xbox all you want but HOW do you not like PlayStation? It’s a a game system that puts out high quality GAMES you can’t get anywhere else (for a few years at least). MAG was ahead of its time. I’d like to see it again, I’d like to see a NEW Parappa, Warhawk could be awesome, Motorstorm would be cool as hell if they added in some of that Mario Kart rubber banding so races stay close. A Wipeout that did the same. A PlayStation Allstars battle that really took its time and got some competitive players involved to make it fun and balanced. With Sony owning some of square, it would be cool to see the bouncer, Tobal, or Battle arena Toshinden come back.

I still don’t see the appeal of this when there are more than enough users on each individual platform. For WHATEVER the reason racism is rampant on PC and Xbox games in my experiences. It can only hurt my experience as far as I’m concerned. When I want to play a Xbox game online and deal with the community I turn on my Xbox it’s that simple. My only hope is that it’s optional since clearly someone somewhere has a raging hard on for crossplay online.
I guess I don’t exactly see it that way. Last of us 2 looks amazing and captures the feel of being in a torn down dilapidated area perfectly. The realistic animations really play into its total package. As a samurai game though, it looks terrible.
