You’d have to be crazy to think Batman is dead in this game. The classic “last recording” is how the Gotham knight went out? No body, no case. He is being held captive somewhere and will probably help with the last boss. This is definitely a game you will want to buy and grind out day one before it gets spoiled. I’m not interested so far though. I need to see more and I hope they have a good meaningful beta test. Online will make or break this one.
I agree. It won’t move systems like a established series like god of war would, but it definitely made its mark and I think it’s inevitable sequels debut on PS5 will move hardware on beauty alone. I can’t even imagine what they could do with the hardware.

I think the whole point was to make a diskless version as a cheaper option. That much more space on a SDD would swallow the savings of a disk drive and then some. I think a 2 TB option is coming, but it won’t be like this. At the same time if you’re going to download everything you do need a lot more space, although games should be much smaller because they won’t have to duplicate so much data to reduce seek times. Yeah, I think the PC users that would consider themselves hardcore gamers would have their computers relatively up to date. Your average gamer and the casuals would be shit out of luck with this one. Even the hardcore are running this game at ugly frame rates or picking and choosing through the settings to find a decent balance they can live with. I wonder what, if any, settings will be on low, off, or ultra for Series X. There’s some beefy PCs with wobbly knees running this game.
Yeah, that’s a lot of money on upgrades just so you can run it properly. Watching streams or YouTube vids of this is crazy. For every ONE uploaded that has everything smooth, stable framerate, and looking awesome there’s 20 uploads that range between a super bouncy frame rate at best, and Galaga Simulator 2020. If most people want to play this game with responsive controls and looks as advertised they will have to upgrade, or keep a vomit bucket.

I find this to be ridiculous. The whole console/ CAPABLE PC (let’s be clear) combo is a minority. Most console gamers can only use what’s available to them on the console they own. If someone does have a capable PC, I can see them getting a console for exclusives on said console. Otherwise your PC is capable... what’s the point.
