Bought it on steam... Damn. Couldn't take the chance of being stuck in the gamespass pay loop.
I was just debating buying it for my PS or Steam. I beat it and all the DLC on PS after all But work has me tethered to my PC lately and its a breeze to just pop up a game and get a few levels in. Pulled up my old Xbox app and what do you know. Its on gamespass. Sowwy devs. Downloading now. ONLY worry is if I decide to breakup with gamespass im out of luck. I definitely see where they are coming from. The game was actually cool and had a ton of potential gameplay wise. Characters had very unique play styles and it was really about teamwork. If you tried to run and gun against a built team you were toast. The REAL issue that exploded were the character designs. I just could NOT connect to any of the characters. The “Soldier 76” style character was cool, but looked weak. The huge girl in football pastels had good abilities, but again… looked absol...
I was in the closed alpha for this game and I could not believe how fun it was. It’s hard as hell, but I recorded a few 1st place wins. Definitely getting the full version and I can’t even believe it. Only thing that existed in my mind was Mario kart. Everything else was bad. This truly is a breakthrough with some really cool shortcuts.
I’m about to fire it up on my PC in just a few.

With the insane amount of marvel characters how does the conversation of adding “original” characters even come up? Maybe stop adding heroes and start adding villains. That alone would dramatically increase options. Mephisto, omega red, juggernaut, blackheart, Sinister, Electro and the entire sinister 6, Shi’ar… I mean future characters like bishop. Multiversal alters…. Like… huh?
Game landed like a turd. Battlefield is eclipsing this.

Is this a joke? Are some of you too out of touch to realize this isn't a PlayStation thing? They actually held out longer than ANY competitor in hopes that the state of trade and economics would change. Unfortunately, they have not and are, if nothing else, more volatile than ever. This is yet another side effect of making America great again. This isn't Sony greed or any other nonsensical reasoning you can come up with. Blame every person that voted for "greatness".

Very unique game! I had fun in the beta. Do not judge a book by its cover on this. I was skeptical until my first gunfight in the dark, walking up on two people having a fight just to take them both out, or using Night vision goggles at just the right time. I’ll be getting it. Just undecided on PlayStation or PC.

Ummm no. Nobody knew it would come to Xbox including the developers. The developers said to not thank them, thank Sony for this coming to Xbox. The first Helldivers was only on PlayStation and published by PlayStation. We don’t know what kind of deal they have but this was NOT coming to Xbox. I’m going all in on battlefield this year. Haven’t had a battlefield since the first modern combat one. I’m call of duty done. I had to PAY to finish the first battlepass. I just couldn’t.
