Let’s be honest…. What developer could Microsoft have handed it to? The Coalition? 343? Turn 10?

The medium was so blah I’m surprised anyone wanted anything else from them significant.
PS has the most dollars made on systems but the least units sold. So PlayStation cost the same or less than the Series X but the series S cost less than both Playstations. More people have and are buying Series S than X otherwise Xbox would be on top of sales and dollars. Making Series S and making it SOUND like a slightly less capable series X seems to be working well for Microsoft as far as getting units in the house is concerned.
That would kinda fall under the big reveal umbrella….

It’s hands down the most ridiculous setting I’ve ever seen, but you are correct. Put it into offline mode and it works.
You have to have connected it to live recently AND there’s a lot of settings you can’t change while you’re offline, but it does work. I don’t think anyone knows about this because it’s pretty dumb. Why wouldn’t it just default to it after realizing you’re offline while giving a message. “You’re in offline mode, cannot connect to services”.

It’s funny. GT7 had great reviews at launch and then when people realized most of it couldn’t be played offline the reviews dropped and when the update to slow down money farming came out the review scores dropped again.
You can’t play ANYTHING on your series console without internet. PS3 went through hell cause you couldn’t play online because PSN was down for a few days. Still has access to play your disc games. Again, you can’t play ANYTHING on your console in 2022.

I agree. I would probably start playing it again. Otherwise If a complete edition ever comes out I’ll start playing the sims 4.
This game is so fun, the music is so good, and the characters are so cool. Man I’ve been waiting on this game like a paycheck. Day one without a doubt. In fact, I’m going to put in vacation time.

One of my favorite games. I realize it isn’t for everyone, but man it gave me some serious wow moments. Not just a wow look at this scene or boss like most games. Wow this story! The ONLY thing bad about gamepass is how Microsoft completely started taking dumps on games with gold ever since. In my opinion (OPINION) PlayStation plus gave better offerings most of the time but there were times where games with gold would win a few FOR ME. Now it’s a landslide. They should put the same effort into games with gold as they do gamespass. Just take the games off, reduce the price, and call it Xbox Live again.

Oh man. I wonder how Microsoft feels about this? Outwardly every business has to give the appearance of supporting freedom of choice. Internally though I promise they are furiously working to make sure the major vote goes their way. This vote simply unlocked the door for the union.
