New games, who dis?
Seriously, I am over the game and have been over it a couple months after release. There are so many new games that have come out that this is just a unpleasant memory of mismanagement. I don’t want this to be the last Halo or game in the Halo universe. I DO want this to be the last of 343s involvement. Maybe their burnt out. Can’t blame them. Maybe the series just needs a new set of eyes. Whatever the case, I am done with the series until it’s in different hands....

It’s still last of us 1. It’s not a completely different game. It is a completely different engine. It is improved in every way graphically. It’s physics, lighting, fidelity, and models, and animations are completely different. Nobody said it was going to be last of us 3. I consider immersion a gameplay element and the graphics level of detail they have added will definitely add to immersion/gameplay. I think you expecting an all new game or something ridiculous is you embarrassing yourself. ...

Good game but they crazy. Persona 4 Golden is still king and I wouldn’t even buy that again.
This looks extremely better, as it should. I understand the price may upset some, but this is far and above a resolution upgrade, HD textures, and a photo mode like many re-releases do. They actually put work into this. Lots of work. They didn’t change how the game is played, it’s still got the Last of us 1 bones. Wanting it to not be a watered down version of the original is a sad reason to not get the game? The jokes, edgy topics, and throwing dildos was a lot of fun.

Sheesh. Nobody agrees with us thinking it’s going to be different and toned down. Guess we will wait and see. Same thing for the future inevitable GTA. I think it’s going to be tame in comparison to some of the jokes on the radio, side quest, and so forth from the other games. Again, I hope that’s not the case. We will see.
Not to offend anyone, but with all the LGBTQ jokes and stuff from the original as well as the straight up raunchiness…. I can’t help but feel like there’s going to be changes to the game. They won’t tell us about it, it could effect sales. But the world has changed soooo much in so little time. A lot of the original wouldn’t fly today sadly. If it is unchanged however I may get it.

This looks incredibly better. In the beginning when he was carrying the daughter I was like eh. Goes wayyyy up hill from the moment the daughter gets shot and they roll downhill. Then it looks offscreen so it’s lost a lot of fidelity. Definitely interested in seeing it in all its glory. Not enough to buy it, but I will be watching a full 4k playthrough.

You’d think more devs would take advantage of the kraken tech but no. I think in their efforts to put out multiplatform games developers simply aren’t putting in any extra optimization or taking advantage of specific features. They just get said game and get it running on all hardware as quickly as possible to get it out the door to make a buck. Kudos to the Stray team for actually using the features we paid for, even if they are under the hood.

I think the only thing “wrong” with Forspoken for most is that the heroine looks regular. She doesn’t look like a edgy heroine like Lightning or over the top like Bayonetta. She literally looks like you can walk past her at the mall, see her at the movies, or another girl like her.
Nobody expected that. It’s not what we are used to when we think of a lead in a game. Not our fault, we were conditioned.
That being said the game looks like a big upgrade to FF15s combat system...
Man…. I can’t knock anyone for what they find value in. I spend money on video games and people still think it’s a waste of time and for kids. Same here. If you got the cash and it’s your type of thing, enjoy.
This is impressive buuuuuut that price is going to be next level and I’d rather have my money for the PSVR2. Of course this is a ME reasoning.
If you play this game on console with a controller you are asking to be murdered by a PC player. It exists to make PC players feel like professional hitmen.
