I almost passed tf out when they announced this. This is one of my favorite games of all time and I always felt like it would have an expansion but for free? Online co-op? Did NOT see this one coming. I beat returnal in a very small amount of deaths, don’t remember the number but I think it was 12 or less. Cannot wait for this. My god.
Even with the several disclaimers people are going to swear it’s supposed to reveal PS6 and the next uncharted.

So I found the sword of night and flame…. Changed my playthrough forever. Literally pouring anything I can into it. I’ve run around, explored, raided dungeons, and ran through areas simply to unlock the map. Especially when I’m broke. I hadn’t done “ANY” of the main quest. Well once I found that sword I poured all my levels into being able to use it. Now I’m making my way to the main story and after 24 hours of play Stormvale is done. 1st boss in there dead on try 5/6, second boss on try 3. ...
Regardless count me out. Nintendo let me down big time. Can’t accept this half azz online and half azz features with these price hike online tiers that’s literally so you can play more retro games. No more free passes from me Nintendo. Come out of 2004 or I’m done with Nintendo period. My launch day switch will be my only switch and possibly my last Nintendo system.
It’s strange to me that the PS5 performs better, loads a LOT faster, and has a higher framerate but Series X is the best place to play if you have VRR? PS5 out performed in each metric but VRR, which has nothing to do with the system, programming, capabilities or nothing, makes the Xbox the preferred version? What?

VRR has nothing to do with performance so….
The TV is doing the work. Has NOTHING to do with the system. It’s still brought up when it’s really socks over ugly feet. Feet are still ugly under there.

Yeahhhhh if they have the medium a 9 then they are clearly not in line with games I normally play and their reviews shouldn’t be taken seriously lol. If that game got a 9 then it’s a ton games that should have scored 10s.
Wow I wanted to try ghost runner. Wayyyy too much to play right now, but I will add it to the library and play it when I clear a few spots.

I’m willing to bet it won’t stay that way. Street fighter alpha was shown as SFA back in the day. That changed to it being written out. There’s no value in SF as a name. “Street Fighter” however is well known and carrys weight.
Sometimes I feel like I’ve been playing games TOO long to remember stuff like that.

They both target 4k but neither hit it and there is a horizontal difference of 200p. Vertical is the same. That’s why he said you’d be hard pressed to notice it. So you reallllly think 200p made Xbox suffer all the performance hits when it’s the strongest system ever? Is that seriously what we are saying here?

What are you talking about? The resolutions are the same and the NPC output is the same. PS5 had a slightly lower AVERAGE resolution, but they both target 4k. Maybe you got confused by them showing PS5 running PS4 version (the previous patch) and now showing the full fledged PS5 version finally. How you got an after when we all watched the same video is weird. On top of that if TF was everything the XBOX should be performing a marginal amount better everytime and people wouldn’t have to hunt...
Man. I said it before and I’ll say it again. Cerny was clearly right about just looking at Teraflops. It’s a Theorized max, but it actually hitting that is a totally different beast. PS5 is literally made to get everything out the system. To actually reach its peak consistently with minimal effort. Xbox is clearly powerful, but getting all the parts to that theoretical peak is what isn’t happening. Something’s missing.
My brother actually made things so simple with me yesterday. I’m willing to bet you’re ADS when you’re shooting right? I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn like that. He came over and was watching me play and said you’ll never hit them with ADS. He was like just shoot without it. Turned the whole game around for me. If you have a charged weapon then ADS: Other than that, I free fire.
Heck yeah! Get to shadow Moses and it’s switch time! Of course you’ve got the final fantasy games, but how about Skies of Arcadia (one of my favorite RPGs ever!) and Disk 2! So many great games stuffed on more than one disk. Rival Schools (Project justice) had so much content that the 2nd disk was all mini games! Damn I love the internet and all… but man DLC ruined how much “game” you got for your buck.
Man this takes me back. Hell it makes me want to buy the disk ps4 version just for nostalgic reasons. Of course that won’t happen though. PS5 digital day one.
Well it’s a remaster, not a remake. It’s only so much they can do without remaking much of the behind the scenes game. Still a large difference. GTA6 will load much faster I am sure.
